Charming studio in a medieval hilltop village in the sunny south of France.
Located on the ground floor of an 1888 "Vigneronne House", full of character
and fully renovated in 2012.
Romantic and beautifully decorated, this former artist's studio
is hung with original paintings and sleeps two comfortably.
Well equipped with a new kitchenette, bathroom, shower,
restful pull-out-sofa, free wi-fi and use of bicycles.
In minutes you can be walking in vineyards, hiking through rosemary and thyme on the garrigues,
swimming in the warm Herault river that flows past our 2000 year old village,
where Hannibal and Julius Caeser passed through.
The village is quaint and friendly, complete with boulangerie with the best baguette
in the south of France, small grocery, café,and news agent. We have several wine domaines
where you can taste the excellent local vintage and buy direct from our genial growers.
The studio is ideally located 3km from Pezenas, a bustling tourist town where you can go for the excellent Saturday market ,
chic shops, restaurants, and antiques, before returning to the tranquility of our peacefull village.
Within a half hour drive, you can also be at white sandy Méditerranean beaches, Canal du Midi,
ancient cathedrals, Cathar castles, water jousting in the old port town of Sète, eating fresh oysters in Mèze,
or the famous cheese of beautiful Rocquefort, or exploring the stunning village of Saint Guilhem le Desert - a stop
on the pilgrimage of Santiago Del Compostelo.
The studio has everything you need for a relaxing and memorable authentic French holiday - linens, towels, fridge,
small cooktop, microwave, coffee maker, kettle, free wi fi,
