Stunning 4 bedroom, 5 bathroom property with private pool, situated in a peaceful location deep in the un spoilt Garfagnana, yet only a few minutes from town and within walking distance of a good restaurant!

This spacious stone barn has been restored to a very high standard, with all modern conveniences, such as a well equipped designer kitchen and beautiful shower rooms, yet it retains traditional features such as chestnut beamed ceilings.

The house whilst very traditional has large windows creating a sense of light and airiness not always found in older style properties and it also has the benefit of a large covered terrace on the first floor as well as a another open terrace both of which overlook the garden and pool.

Specifics

Upper Floor:

Enter house via large covered terrace into very spacious living room/kitchen/diner.

The room is light and spacious with 2 large windows, one with view of the valley and the other overlooking the pool.

There is a large dining table with ample space for all to dine, and there are sofas for relaxing.

There is a choice of SAT TV, DVD, and stereo for entertainment plus free WiFi connection.

The living room is divided from the kitchen by a serving/preparing 'island'

The kitchen is well equipped with oven; 4 ring electric hob; double sink; microwave; dishwasher; large fridge/freezer, washing machine.

Leading from the living room, is a study/quiet room furnished with a bed settee. This room has doors leading to uncovered terrace, and also has a shower room with “Jacuzzi” shower accessible from lounge. It is therefore just as good as a bedroom!

Other main door leads directly to the garden and pool area.

Internal access to the ground floor from wooden staircase to the night zone, consisting of

1 Double bedroom with en-suite shower room and direct access to lower garden.

1 Double bedroom with en suite bathroom.

2 Twin bedrooms each with en suite shower rooms.

There is a brand new stunning private infinity pool 11M x 5M with internal steps, set in the flat area of the garden including a shaded area with outdoor sofas.

A little about location:

Situated on the hillside, within a 500M of a restaurant, and only 2km from the local market town of Castelnuovo di Garfagnana with its bars, restaurants, shops and famous Thursday morning market.

The medieaval town of Barga a 15 min drive; Lucca 45 min; Florence around 1 hour 30min, and Pisa airport around 1 hr 15 mins.

Perfect for those seeking a rural property, and for families that enjoy walking, nature and picnics, yet handy for all conveniences.
