Elena House & Home is a beautiful 7 bedroom Mediterranean style Villa is situated on the Kenya Coast in the Casuarina area of Malindi. The House is 5 minutes walk from the Casuarina Marine Park Beach and is well located for Malindi Town Center, the airport and other beach resorts close by.

The Villa has two lounge areas overlooking the pools and gardens and a dining area that easily accommodates 14 people. All the bedrooms are furnished with traditional Lamu beds and have fans while the upstairs children's room and the 2 bedroom garden wing are air-conditioned. Elena House guests have the luxury of two swimming pools, one large swimming and a children's pool all surrounded by lush tropical gardens. The house has staff for cooking, cleaning, laundry and 24 hour security.

Blessed by the coastal monsoons all year round, the Villa provides an ideal setting for a holiday in paradise. The Villa is well situated for fishing, and diving excursions, wildlife safaris and of course the history of Malindi town, a small fishing village visited by Vasco de Gama in 1498 while sailing the waters off the East African coast. All the beaches are surrounded by reefs and lagoons, where the clear waters of the Indian Ocean rarely dip below 27 degrees centigrade and team with an abundance of tropical fish and corals.

Excursions, transfers, chauffer and self-drive car hire can be arranged during your stay subject to adequate notice being given.

Why can't I call Kevin (the owner) before booking?

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Kevin (the owner) a message.

If Kevin (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
