From the owner

The Lily Pad is located just 5 minutes from the main town area and 10 minutes from the popular "Split." It was completed in March 2019 so it is a brand new cottage with all the amenities. 1x (5 Gallon) jug is supplied for a 2-4 night stay OR 2x (5 Gallon) Jugs of water are supplied for a 5 night stay or longer (extra jugs are $3.50USD/each), A/C in both bedrooms and ceiling fans throughout the House. A full-size fridge and gas stove are also at your disposal. For a 3 night stay (or longer) we offer a complimentary pick-up service from the Ferry terminal to get you and your luggage to our cottage and 4 Bicycles are provided for our guests as well. There are multiple Golf cart taxi services on the Island or you can choose to rent your own Golf Cart while you are here. We hope you will enjoy your stay with us!

2) Caye Caulker is powered by large diesel generators so In trying to conserve the Island Energy please do not run the A/C (Air Conditioning) when you leave the house for prolonged time. It doesn’t take long to cool the room(s) once you return.

3) Please do not use towels to remove makeup or wipe up spills

4) You are responsible for any damages incurred

Why can't I call Mike (the owner) before booking?

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I cancel my booking?

Go to Manage your holiday booking to cancel your booking. Here you can view your cancellation policy to see if you’ll be refunded.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Mike (the owner) a message.

If Mike (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
