Terrace with Stunning Sea Views

The unique feature this property offers is undoubtedly the “Exceptionally large South Facing Private Terrace” extending to 140 square meters with AMAZING PANORAMIC views of the Ocean, Fishermans Beach and Marina.

The terrace which has been recently renovated fitted with a roofed pergola to the side of the penthouse offering more protection from the sun. The terrace has the sun all day and is completely private and not overlooked. Each patio door opens directly onto the terrace area. It comes equipped with sun loungers, outside shower, outdoor dining area with table and chairs - this sets it apart from other apartments which tend to have small cramped balconies.

Location

This property is ideally located in the heart of Albufeira, just a 10- minute stroll to the local Fisherman’s Beach, the Historic Old Town where you will find many bars, restaurants, outdoor concerts and various entertainment. It is also just a 10-minute stroll to the Marina where you can enjoy many water sports activities. No need to hire car as everywhere is within walking distance. The complex itself consists of 18 apartments located in a quiet residential area.

The property has been described as “home from home” quoted by previous guests decorated to a comfortable standard. All fixtures and fittings are of good quality, has two-bedrooms, one master bedroom with 5ft bed with bathroom ensuite, the second bedroom has two single beds with a further pull out bed and a separate main bathroom. Each bedroom is fitted with sliding full length mirrored wardrobes with lots of hanging space. Both bedroom have patio doors opening onto the balcony. The lounge consists of L shape sofa, two arm chairs, coffee table. It has an internet streaming TV system with all the TV channels to catch up on your soaps and sports programmes.

The kitchen is fully equipped and has everything you need, dishwasher, washing machine, electric oven, hob, microwave, fridge-freezer and breakfast bar.

This apartment has been described as "home from home" quoted by previous guests. It has been decorated to a very comfortable standard. The kitchen is fully equipped and has everything you except. All fixtures and fittings are of good quality, the lounge includes 32 inch TV, DVD, CD, L-shape sofa and breakfast bar. Every exterior door opens directly onto the large extended terrace so you have ease of access for outdoor dining and sunbathing. The terrace has sea views over Fishermans Beach. Its a perfect spot for lounging, taking it easy and soaking up the sun. The master bedroom has a king size bed, an en suite and patio doors leading to the balcony overlooking the sea. The second bedroom has 2 single beds with pull out beds underneath making the apartment ideal for families. The second bedroom also looks out over the sea and has patio doors leading to a balcony.

Car Parking

A secure underground car-parking garage is available should a guest wish to rent a car. An allocated car space is provided which is operated by a zapper for the opening and closing of automated garage doors. It is an added benefit particularly as its busy on the streets and car parking isn't always available .

This is certainly not essential as the penthouse is very central and walking distance of everywhere.

Further details outdoors

There is an exceptionally large terrace with wonderful views overlooking Albufeira bay. The terrace has been renovated earlier this year 2016 , it has been re tiled and the construction of a covered pergola which is fitted to the side of the penthouse which gives added protection and shade from the sun. The terrace is south facing so gets the sun all day. It is equipped with sun loungers along with table and chairs for outdoor dining. The complex has a CCTV phone entry system for peace of mind and security. There is a Lift to all floors and underground secure private parking.

Getting around

Transport service: The local bus service is called "Giro" , there is a bus stop right outside the apartment complex. Taxis are readily available and reasonable to get around the Albuferia area. Train station is a ten minute drive which offers train service to all of Portugal. There are lots of ticket agents should you wish to book a trip to Lisbon, Seville and many other tourist attractions.

Magnificent apartment with spectacular views. We stayed at this Penthouse in July and I have to say it was "First Class". The penthouse had everything and more, the property was clean and facilities were excellent, comfortable beds with a fully equipped kitchen, living room area with two bedroom rooms and two bathrooms. The big attraction for us was the huge terrace with fantastic sea views, the terrace has the sun all day as it's south facing , equipped with sun loungers and outside table and chairs for dinning , while we watched the sunsets in the evenings. We found the pergola a great bonus to sit under and shade from the hot midday sun. We found the staff at property management company most helpful and friendly during our stay. They arranged airport transfers for members of our family as they were coming and going at different times. The booking process admin was handled efficiently and everything ran smoothly. The property is in a great location within walking distance to the beach , central area of the old town and the Marina , you do not need a car. Our family had a great holiday and already we are looking forward to re booking and returning next year.

We really enjoyed our 10 days in Albufeira as a family of 4 (2 teenage girls) The apartment was spacious and well furnished/equipped for all our needs and the balcony is stunning, perfect for sunbathing on the loungers provided. The location is perfect also ... close enough to walk to the main tourist area or beach, but away from the busy centre. Would thoroughly recommend this apartment!

“Total disaster managed by an unprofessional agent”

The property and views are very nice, however the agent is completly unhelpful upon your arrival and during the stay. We stayed over Christmas and requested heating this was not forth coming and when asked the agent passed the buck stating the owner would call in and sort it. Needless to say this never happened. The main issue however is the fact we still await our deposit refund of £150 minus internet fees. Despite there being nothing wrong with the apartment in vacation the agent refunded our deposit to the wrong account on PayPal. The error being theirs and the fact payment should have been refunded via account paid we still await our monies. We have even offered to accept 50% of the monies owed so the burden if an error is not born by one party alone, even though the mistake was not ours, however this has never been accepted or acknowledged. I would estimate costs now rising above the deposit on our behalf through phone calls and correspondence. The area is full of apartments such as this so it's not like the owner captures the market, we would suggest you look around further or run the risk if additional cost to your holiday.

I never usually respond to reviews but in this case I had to so that viewers got the full situation of this review. Re: “Agent been unhelpful upon arrival and heating not forth coming” On speaking to our dedicated local management team they confirmed that the heating situation was not brought to their attention. Also to note in the welcome pack there are full instructions on how to operate the heating system. This issue was only first raised in your review. Had this been brought to our attention during your stay we would have ensured it was addressed and resolved immediately. Re: “Main issue Mr. & Mrs. X still await their deposit refund of £150 minus internet fees” Your comments regarding a lack of refund of your security deposit is inaccurate and still unresolved due to unresolved factors on your side. Your deposit was fully returned to the PayPal account of the email address which made the initial booking and to whom we were primarily dealing with prior to your visit. Following this refund we received a request to redirect this refund to an alternative PayPal bank account. We confirmed this would not be a problem and contacted PayPal immediately to ensure there were no problems with completion. PayPal explained that given that the refund had been accepted into the first PayPal account this money would need to be returned to PayPal so that in turn they could redirect the payment to the alternative bank account. PayPal have emailed and phoned you directly on numerous occasions explaining the process and to date the funds from the initial refund have yet not been returned. Until this is completed we cannot progress. We have phoned you directly and explained this situation in detail. Furthermore we have sincerely apologized for any inconvenience. As a goodwill gesture we have also offered the penthouse free of charge for a weekend at a time of your choice. Re: “Costs of phone calls & correspondence, rising above the deposit “Your wife’s PayPal account was refunded £150 minus £25 for internet usage as detailed within the booking form. The full balance of £125 has been fully returned. Re: Comment “it’s not like the owner captures the market and the area is full of apartments like this” There are lots of properties with views but very few that compares to the Boavistapenthouse which offers 190 degree of panoramic views of the Ocean and Marina. Our property is also unique in that it offers a 140 square meters of south facing private sun terrace. Our reviews to date award Boavistapenthouse a five star customer rating. We have worked tirelessly to assist with your ongoing queries and look to resolve this matter however as outlined above we cannot proceed until the initially refunded funds are transferred back to PayPal. As you chose to use PayPal as a third party payment engine we have no option but to adhere to their terms and processes in order to close out the matter of receipt of monies into your desired bank account. We pride ourselves on offering a first class customer service and will go out of our way to ensure that the needs of guests are met. This was our second visit to the Boa Vista apartment and I can only say it was better than the first time with the work that has been done on the terrace. The views from the terrace are absolutely breath-taking and the apartment has everything you are likely to need, and more! All the booking arrangements went smoothly and I would not hesitate to recommend this apartment. We hope to be going back soon!

“Fabulous apartment”

Super apartment with a homely feel. Every appliance and more in the kitchen, beautiful and luxurious furnishings in lounge and bedrooms. Huge roof top terrace with sunbeds, patio furniture etc. Steep walk down to old town and beach which may be difficult for some people. Would love to visit again.

There was 4 of us who stayed here 2 couples in mid 20's.. We had a great time This place was Amazing It's nice an modern, done to living standards not jus holiday standards. It was so comfortable made our holiday so relaxing and had everything u cud possibly need. Absolutely spotless an plenty of space. The terrace was so big every room had an entrance to it an had fab views of the sea, beach an old town. It was extra for linen an towel Change so we didnt bother because we had a washing machine so did all that ourselves. Wash on in the mornin an everything was dry wen we came bk from the beach. The pool area was quite small so we went the beach everyday. The beach an town was about 5 min walk down hill an 15 min up it was fine not too bad.. We enjoyed it but wudnt recommend walking if u hav any walking difficulties, children or elderly people. We got a cab sum nights cost bout €5. Overall I wud recommend this place it was really fab a home from home.
