52 Clichy is gorgeous! There are no wide angled lens photos, the living space is large, comfortable & homely. I've created a space where you are expected to make yourselves at home, take your aperitifs on the balcony, make a cup of tea when you want & sleep in a really, really really comfortable super king-size bed (or twin beds if you want). People who have difficulty walking will have no problems staying here as there is a large elevator to the door. This is a shared property, but shared only with you.

Your bedroom is not huge, but you don't spend much time in it as the rest of the apartment is yours to use as your Home Away From Home. You have an ensuite bathroom with a shower inside the bath and your private WC is separate, just 1 step across the hall. And there is plenty of hanging and cupboard space.

Breakfast will be at the dining room table in Winter or on the balcony as soon as there is any sun (we have had breakfast on the balcony on 1st January!). August is never too hot because we are on the top floor & have through draughts all the time & the colours in October (see photo) are gorgeous.

I'm the only B&B in the Frommer's guide to Paris, listed as their 'Best Value' property and have a 9.8/10 ranking on ***********. Staying here is relaxing, fun, comfortable, very good value for money & because I am English but have lived in Paris for more than 20 years, there are no language barriers, so no worries! Just come and go as you please.

I love my neighbourhood, Montmartre with the Sacré Coeur church and its winding streets full of great restaurants, cool shops and bars 5 minutes walk to the North and the luxury shopping of Galeries Lafayette and Printemps and the Opéra House just 10 minutes down the hill. Just a few minutes more and you are in the Tuileries Gardens by the Louvre and wandering along the Seine.

Just where I am is, however, a little local oasis, set apart from all those tourist traps, traffic noise and bustle, here there is silence, calm - it is unbelievable that you are in Central Paris and often birdsong is the only noise you hear from the balcony!

Public transport, if you are not walking everywhere, is excellent. Several metro stations are within minutes walk (going places you want to go!) and the buses are even more frequent.

St Lazare train station is at the bottom of the hill (5 minutes walk) and from there you have direct trains to Versailles Chateau, Monet's Gardens at Giverney and this is also the train station you use to get to the Normandy beaches.

Why can't I call the property manager before booking?

You can exchange contact details with the property owner/manager once your booking is confirmed and you’ve paid in full. Paying and communicating only through our platform allows us to ensure that your booking is covered by our Payment Protection policy.

If you have any questions before booking, you can send the property owner/manager a message via the contact form on their listing. Once you’ve booked, you can discuss the rental and make arrangements for your trip by logging into Manage my booking.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

Go to Manage your holiday booking to view all your booking details, pay the balance of your holiday or cancel it if you need to.

How do I pay the balance of my holiday?

You can pay the remaining balance of your holiday at any point. Simply go to Manage my holiday booking and click Pay now.

We’ll automatically charge the balance payment to the same payment method 10 days before it’s due. Go to Manage my holiday booking to see when the payment will be taken.

How can I retract my booking request?

You’ll need to contact the property manager to do this. Send them a message in Manage your holiday booking or through the contact form on this page.

How do I cancel my booking?

Go to Manage your holiday booking to cancel your booking. Here you can view your cancellation policy to see if you’ll be refunded.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send the property manager a message.

If the property manager agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
