Conway Cottage is a 4 Star self-catering Apartment situated in the heart of York, just 10 minutes’ walk to the city centre and University and overlooking the medieval City Walls. We offer our guests with free complementary tea/coffee, juice, milk etc. Free Fiber Optic super fast WiFi and free on-street parking are also provided. We now use smart self check in system so you can check in anytime after 1400hrs.

This first floor holiday apartment features a spacious bedroom with a highly comfortable king-size luxury pocket sprung bed, modern dressing table and all essential fitted furniture. There is a fully fitted kitchen with ceramic electric hob, electric oven, fridge-freezer, kettle, microwave and all items required for preparing and cooking needs. The bathroom comes with shower, hairdryer & fresh towels. The lounge has a wide screen TV with additional channels, Blu-ray player, sofa and a solid oak dining table for 3.

With an extensive range of restaurants and attractions close by, Conway Cottage apartment is perfect for a city break. London is only 2 hours away by train. Children over 10 years old are welcomed in this apartment.

Cancellation Policy

If for any reason you have to cancel your stay with us at Conway Cottage, we shall try our best to re book Conway Cottage for you. If we are able to re let in full we shall refund your accommodation costs.

If for any highly unlikely reason that we have to cancel your stay at Conway Cottage we will refund your stay in full.

Insurance

Accidents do happen and you may be charged for any breakages or damages incurred, we do not normally charge for small items damaged please let us know as soon as you can so that they can be replaced of if anything is not working.

Car Parking

We do not have a designated parking place but there is free parking right outside the Conway Cottage.

Other Policies

Conway Cottage is strictly a no smoking apartment, if guests do smoke in the apartment a penalty of a £250 fine will be charged. Also if we lose business due to someone smoking, we reserve the right to cover our losses directly from the offender.

We would appreciate it if you are considerate of noise levels on your stay.

We reserve the right to remove any guests who are disruptive, abusive, or cause loud noise or great disturbance and damage to the apartment.

Arrival

Conway Cottage will be ready for check in at 3pm until 9pm, arrivals after 6pm have to be agreed with us prior to booking.

Departure

On the day of departure we request that you leave Conway Cottage by 11am. The cost of your holiday includes gas and electricity, bedding, linen, towels and a selection of Luxury toiletries.

We have free WiFi available.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Apsara (the owner) a message.

If Apsara (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
