From the owner

Ostir's farm is a typical Slovenian farm house with typical countryside neighbourhood. Inside the house you can find a lot of restored old products and tools, a built-in iron stove with an oven, a big bread oven and ancient furniture. Outside the house you will find a big garden, a fruit garden and one of the biggest and the oldest hayracks around, where you can also spend the night on. You can experience authentic life on a farm, learn how to bake treats from the bread oven and serve yourself with garden products or fruits. Beside the authentic living, we also offer you guided tours around the intermittent Lake Cerknica, where you can see all of its' natural attractions (water caves, vent holes, subterranean passages, viewing points etc.) and cultural attractions nearby.

With its' attributes Oštir's farm welcomes you into the wonderful rural life that once was, and gives you the ability of governing your own farm.
