Welcome to our lovely Gîte situated in the heart of the Correze, with two bedrooms (one king, one double and singe), bathroom and open plan living/dining/kitchenette which makes it ideal for families and couples.

There are some lovely country walks for those who like to ramble and don't forget your bike maybe you could enjoy your own Tour de France!

The Gîte has an open-plan lounge and kitchenette with french doors opening up onto a sun-drenched grass terrace and barbecue, ideal for spending long summer evenings under the stars, excellent for sharing a bottle of the locally produced wines, reading a good book or enjoying a movie.

Our Gîte provides total relaxation yet with all the interesting places to visit and activities the region has to offer within a mere 5 -15 minutes drive or cycle away.

In the immediate area there are many activities to be enjoyed including zip wire in the treetops, fishing, aqua park (July and August), municipal swimming pool, canoeing, paddle boarding. pedalo with water slide, walking, pony trekking, horse riding, cycling.

We are situated in Parc Millevaches de Limousine - in the Correze. In an area of outstanding natural beauty where every turn leads to a picture postcard view. Discover beautiful medieval villages and timeless scenery of a region immersed in history that stretches back to prehistoric times.

Le Moulin de Bonnat, where the Gîte is located, is only a five minute drive to the lovely town of Chamberet, where you all find a supermarket, four restaurants plus one take-away, bank, post office, pharmacy, medical centre, and the usual French village shops.

Only 10 minutes away is the stunning Lac de Barieusses - a Blue Flag sandy beach with Supervised swimming from 11h to 12h and 14h to 19h in July-August

Finally, the 15 acres of private land is mostly meadow to provide an environment for birds/honey bees/ dragon flies etc. and also has a mill pond, woodland for walks and areas to enjoy watching the wildlife and colourful birds.

Activities in the area include horse-riding, walking, fishing, mountain biking, sailing, paddle boarding and many other outdoor activities. Only 10 minutes to the Lac des Bariousses with sandy beach and water-sport activities. Fantastic!

Municipal SWIMMING POOL located 5 minutes away with excellent facilities.
