From the owner

We are located on the second floor of a stately antebellum building in the heart of historic downtown Charleston, SC. We offer a private entrance, and five spacious bedrooms with high ceilings and 19th century heart pine floors, accented with paintings and furnishings from our ground floor antiques gallery. We are directly across Meeting Street from the iconic Mills House, and adjacent to award-winning restaurants and bars, King Street shopping and nightlife, art galleries, the city market, bucolic parks and gardens, historic churches, South of Broad mansions, and multiple reception halls. Relax on the spacious 2nd floor veranda, with lovely views of the steeples of both St. Philips and St. Michael's. The deep porch fills with morning sunlight and captures the breeze from the nearby harbor

*Please not that our "weekend rate" is for Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.

* Our standard requirement is a 3 night minimum stay. However, if you wish to stay only 2 nights we are willing to allow this for an additional fee.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Lizzy (the owner) a message.

If Lizzy (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
