Les Pins is a truly spacious and comfortable apartment. Three double bedrooms - two of which can convert to twins - and a huge living room with two balconies offering panoramic views across the village. Excellent views and outside seating in summer. Underfloor heating keeps the whole apartment warm in winter. It also has its own garage, cellar and ski store. Everything you need from ski equipment to mountain bikes and local delicacies is within walking distance.
Châtel lies at 1200m on the border with Switzerland. Les Pins is midway between the town centre with its Gondola to Super Châtel and Linga/Pre La Joux with chair lift links to Avoriaz, Morzine, Les Gets and Les Crosets. In winter with a Portes du Soleil pass you can ski at 2000m on different slopes every day. In summer you can walk in alpine meadows, scale peaks, raft in white water, swim, play tennis and laze by the lake. For families with small children Chatel's own ski nursery and adventure park is just a snowball's or stone's throw from Les Pins.

The balconies offer a great space to sit outside and take in the beautiful view of Chatel and the surrounding mountains. They also overlook the ski nursery in the valley.
Free buses stop opposite the apartment to take you to all the main ski areas and walking areas.

lovely comfortable apartment suitable for 6 adults. easy walk into the village where we enjoyed great food in 4 different restaurants. ski buses stop nearby. ski area is great and snow conditions very good.

“Chatel Family Ski”
Appt is just a 5-10 min walk below the town, which at least means you get get to stretch your muscles after a days skiing before you hit the bars / restaurants and then it's a nice descent back at the end of the night! Apt is spacious and in reasonable condition with underfloor heating (took a while to figure out the controls) and balcony looking over kindergarten ski area. Master bedroom ensuite was nice, others were simply furnished, but fine. Car parking on quite a steep hill by garages, ski locker room in lobby and ski boot rack outside front door.

“Excellent accommodation, would recommend a holiday in this Apt”
We stayed in this Apt over New Year 2013/14. from the moment we arrived the accommodation far exceeded our expectations. The accommodation was clean and had all the comforts of home. The Apt was in walking distance of the village and had excellent bus links. The agent for the property was prompt in dealing with our queries and advising on ski passes. The whole package from booking till check out was very professional. We would thoroughly recommend this property for the price and quality and hope to return in the future, Kim,John, Ian,Debbie, Nikki and Nigel six very happy holiday makers.

“Excellent accommodation in a wonderful setting”
We stayed in this apartment for 2 weeks last summer and loved it so much that we are going back again this year for our holiday! It was perfect for us as a family of five. Clean, well equipped and comfortable,gorgeous views and walking distance to the lovely village of Chatel. We spent many happy hours riding on different chair lifts, walking along trails, and relaxing down by Lake Geneva . All in all the perfect accommodation in the perfect resort!

“Fantastic Apartment with stunning views”
We stayed here for a week with 2 small children and grandparents. We found the apartment very spacious and warm. Was very near to free bus stops to Ling/Pre la Joux but we did have a friend who lives in Chatel with a car as the bus was sometimes full! Had views across Chatel and the valley and a great balcony to enjoy them from. Had fully fitted kitchen with dishwasher and washer. The only downside was the WIFI didn't work as we had non skiiers. Great place will be booking again Thanks

I thought we had fixed the problem by repairing the phone line and resetting the hub, evidently not. I will reboot the whole thing myself next week. Please be assured the fibre optic cables are usually very fast and reliable. Look forward to seeing you again next year.
“Fantastic place for an active and beautiful summer holiday”
This is a lovely property in a beautiful Alpine town, in a breathtaking valley. The apartment is great place to stay, being really well appointed, having gorgeous open views, and with a superb balcony that affords those breathtaking views and a loevly place to relax or eat. The town of Chatel is very unspoilt, with great facilities for everything you would need in a stay here - shops selling local produce, inc. food and drink, pottery, fashion and trekking clothing, and much more. Then there are plenty of restaurants and bars ot choose from, to suit all tastes, and many events organised to keep everyone entertained. The walking straight from the place is all anyone could want, and this can easily be added to or varied by taking local ski lifts in the summer, thus extending your range greatly. The mountain biking in the area was fantastic too, as we used trails and roads, and also more demanding downhill runs. Then for those interested in the wildlife the alpine meadows, woodlands and mountain tops are still awash with an incredible variety of flowers in summer. I should think you could spend many holidays here and still be finding new and beautiful things to see and do, and revisiting others because they were just so special.
