Do you need a romantic weekend get-a-away? a relaxing few days to yourself? Enjoy our local mountains, right outside your front door. We all enjoy our peaceful existence in Cherry Valley, and we hope you will too! Your stay will include a serene 2-bedroom, 1.5 bath, Cherry Valley GUests Cottage - you will enjoy the entire private Cottage, whether you are one guest, or four guests - nestled in the San Gorgonio Mountain foothills at the 2,800 ft. elevation.

We have two Cottages on a five-acre property - YOUR fully-furnished Cottage is completely yours - close your doors and you have complete solitude and privacy!

This Cottage is one-acre north of our residence, and includes a master bedroom with queen bed and private 1/2 bath; 2nd bedroom has a Queen bed, plus twin bed. There is a full bathroom in hallway, stocked with all you will need for your visit. Enjoy your fully-equipped kitchen - pots, pans, dishes, etc. Bring some groceries before your arrival and utilize the full size refrigerator, oven, stove, etc.

You will find a self-serve breakfast in the refrigerator, which is provided once on your first day, and may include some or all of the following: our own pasture farm-fresh eggs, bread, butter, fresh whole coffee beans(grinder provided), fresh cream, orange juice, and milk (please do let us know if you prefer any substitutes on these items before your arrival??)

AT&T Direct TV is provided in master bedroom, plus living room, and enjoy complimentary Frontier FIOS wireless internet during your stay.

We are a non-smoking house/property. Thank you kindly for your understanding.

Guest Cottage is 30 miles from Palm Springs (be sure to visit the Living Desert Museum a bit further east); 20 minutes to the town of Redlands; less than 50 miles from Big Bear Lake, including Forest Falls just 20 miles away; and 20 minutes to the tranquil mountain town of Oak Glen; plus less than 100 miles from the incredible Joshua Tree National Park! which makes for a fabulous day trip.

Another PLUS! Downtown Beaumont is well-known for its amazing and numerous antique shops! All along 6th Street, right off Highway 10, you will find shops with hundreds of spaces filled with antiques and various collectibles.

The house is very cozy and quiet. We enjoyed our stay here very much. Coming from the country and having chickens ourselves, we appreciated the farm fresh eggs left for us to enjoy.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I cancel my booking?

Go to Manage your holiday booking to cancel your booking. Here you can view your cancellation policy to see if you’ll be refunded.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Sherry (the owner) a message.

If Sherry (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
