Fondly called Baan Banana (Banana House) because of the many different types of bananas we have planted. Our Thai wooden house gives a true country feeling. Perfect for city dwellers who want to get away for some peace and be one with nature. Our large grounds coupled with a pavilion that sits on the water offers organic farming and fishing. A wonderful experience for families with kids.

A once in a lifetime experience especially for large families and groups who love lots of space and being one with nature. Tucked away from the city yet close enough; Baan Banana is a 20-30 minute drive from the city/airport. With 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, the house comfortably sleeps 8 and can fit up to a maximum of 10-12 people.

Perfectly ideal for large groups, the huge living space and pavilion is perfect for family and corporate bonding. The ample grounds offers space for outdoor activities and we have a big pond stocked with fish for game fishing.

With about 70,000 square feet of land, Baan Banana has more than 10 varieties of fruit and vegetables for picking during the right seasons. With 2 very tame and friendly dogs and some small farm animals, organic farming and animal feeding activities make it a great place to stay for families with kids. Baan Banana also offers lots of space to hold yoga retreats and weddings.

We will host you during your entire stay and will also help you plan a wonderful and memorable holiday with the many different activities available in Chiang Mai.

Full access to the house with 4 air conditioned rooms. Minimum 3 nights stay and up to a maximum of 1 month.

A fully equipped kitchen to cook up a storm.

Meals and full laundry services are available upon request.

Cable TV, DVD and Wifi access also available.

Airport transfer (car/van) can be arranged on your behalf.

Volunteering at homes and shelters can also be arranged and is highly encouraged for those who will like to do their bit of charity.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I cancel my booking?

Go to Manage your holiday booking to cancel your booking. Here you can view your cancellation policy to see if you’ll be refunded.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send K-Lin (the owner) a message.

If K-Lin (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
