From the owner

Cedar Cottage is set at the end of a farm track, in the midst of National Trust farmland. It is one of six cottages that have been converted from a large stone barn, it has a small private patio and a south facing shared garden. Set in tranquil, beautiful countryside with views of the surrounding area, including Dorset’s famous Golden Cap, it is only a 15-minute walk to Seatown beach on the Jurassic coast which is great for fossil hunting and within walking distance of three local pubs.

Further details indoors

The cottage is spacious, laid out over three levels, with simple but carefully chosen furnishings. It has two bedrooms, a bathroom and a lounge/dining area with open-plan kitchen.

The cosy lounge includes two comfy sofas, a coffee table and a dining area. There is a DVD and Blu-ray player, a smart flat screen TV and a CD audio system (with Bluetooth and USB Port).

French doors lead to a private patio area which borders the large communal lawn, with stunning views of the surrounding countryside, it is an ideal place to relax, listen to the birds and watch the sun set at the end of the day. A bench, table, chairs and a barbeque are all provided for use on the patio.

For those wet days there are family games and books. The cottage also has good Wi-Fi throughout the cottage

The open plan kitchen is fully equipped for your stay with electric oven and hob, microwave oven, fridge/ freezer, washing machine, dishwasher etc. Dishes, pans and cooking utensils are plentiful for those who may choose to cook the delicious local produce, including fish, organic vegetables and cheese bought from the market in Bridport.

The large master bedroom at the rear the cottage has wonderful views, and offers a king size bed, bedside tables, a wardrobe and a chest of drawers. The beds are made up with fresh linen and towels for your stay.

Bedroom one, leading off the hall at the front of the cottage, has two stacking beds, which can be used as singles or put together as a double, plus another single bed. There is a wardrobe plus chest of drawers.

The bathroom has a full-sized bath and over bath power shower.

There is one designated free parking space for 1 car.
