W i x e y House is a stunning Georgian property overlooking the world renowned High Street of Chipping Campden. It is beautifully furnished with craftsman built oak furniture & high quality soft furnishings.The House is a Grade II listed Georgian style home. It is situated in the residential area of the High Street, fronted by a parking area and wide grass verge with water pump. 250 years old, The House was once owned by a local grocer. His shop was in the property on the corner which opened in 1863 - now a private house. W i x e y House was for many years a bakery. The property has been renovated to a high standard and is now a beautiful and comfortable holiday home with high quality furniture and soft furnishings. There is full gas central heating. There is a key safe at the cottage so that guests can arrive at a time which suits them. These times are (arriving) from 4pm and (departing by) 10am. These times can sometimes be negotiated however this depends on other bookings at this cottage and our other cottages. We do not usually meet guests during their stay but we are always happy to call in on guests if they ask us to do so. There may be times where this is not possible however we love meeting guests and so please feel free to ask us at any point during your stay. We have our mobiles with us at all times and so please call Honeypot Cottages if we can assist at all during your stay.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Andy (the owner) a message.

If Andy (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
