From the owner

Casa Solana is a modern home on the beach with two tastefully furnished suites. The Las Palmeras suite is light and airy with a soaring 12' ceilings and an entire wall of glass doors and glass block in both the bedroom and living area. The suite has a full kitchen and all linens, dishes, beach towels etc. are provided. The secured compound is completely walled and gated and has a large beautiful aqua-marine coloured pool. We are located right on the beautiful white sand beach of the Gulf of Mexico and three blocks from the local town square.

The suites are ideal for mature couples looking for a private, peaceful and relaxing get-a-way. It is very quiet and tranquil but has all the modern conveniences of home. We have excellent quality beds, ceiling fans in every room and free wi-fi. We also have North American standard plumbing and electrical, a flat screen TV, a large selection of free movies. Hammocks and beach towels are provided and air conditioning is available for an additional fee. Complimentary housekeeping service is provided once per week and additional cleaning is available for a nominal fee.

Why can't I call Sonya (the owner) before booking?

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Sonya (the owner) a message.

If Sonya (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
