From the owner

Spacious attractive 400 year old traditional stone, beamed property with a private garden, large heated 11 x 5 meter alarmed swimming pool that reaches temperatures of 30-32 degrees in the summer provided for the guests sole use.

The house is in a rural location and is surrounded by sunflowers. Local shops and supermarkets are a 5 minute drive.

With extensive character features the house lends itself well to provide accommodation for 2 families with sleeping and bathroom facilities either side of the main living area, which can be divided by closing doors (not lockable).

Between the two sleeping areas is a large open plan kitchen/dining/lounge area with a high vaulted ceiling.

The kitchen is fully equipped for all your needs with a range gas cooker, dishwasher, microwave, fridge/freezer, toaster and coffee machine.

The dining area has a large dining table which provides seating for 10.

The lounge has seating for 10 and a large TV with satellite, Xbox, i-pod docking station and large feature fireplace with the main wood burning stove.

There is an outside seating area, which is has a beautiful canopy from the trees, providing shade during hot days.

Other facilities include access to highchair and travel cot, a range of books, children’s toys and games and washing machine.

Outside is a large gravel, which provides ample parking (within the secured area) for up to 4 cars, the dining area with charcoal barbecue, swimming pool and large lawned garden, trees and a tree swing.

Guests have access to a modern barn which houses the table tennis table and pool inflatables and the bikes.

La Batonnerie is located within driving distance of the following:

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Alison (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
