• Private, decked, courtyard garden off the downstairs area, with sun loungers and umbrella and a gas barbecue.

• 'Upside down house' with light and airy living/kitchen area; bedroom and shower room downstairs.

• Large pool (extending to 12 x 6 maximum), unheated. Shared with owners.

• Sun loungers and umbrellas around the pool area, together with shaded pergola.

• Perfect for a relaxing getaway but with easy access to nearby towns and shopping facilities.

• English owners live on site. French spoken also.

A welcome pack is provided on arrival. All linen and towels are provided, including pool towels. A full information pack is provided, detailing nearby places of interest etc.

We live on site and provide a warm welcome: and show our guests around the gite in order that they can quickly familiarise themselves and start to unwind and relax.

We ask our guests to arrive any time after 16.00.

The property has been renovated and is equipped with everything required for a relaxing holiday, including fully equipped kitchen area, dining facilities and comfortable living area. The bedroom, containing a super king size bed and ample storage facilities, has a fly screen at the window and is beautifully cool throughout the day and night. There is a laundry area elsewhere on the property, equipped with washing machine, tumble dryer, iron and ironing board.

Apart from the private areas of the cottage, there is a lawned area leading to the swimming pool area for guests to use. The pool area is large and well-equipped with sun loungers and umbrellas. There is also a pergola which in summer is covered with grape vines providing dappled shade. The pool area faces almost due west and is sunny for most of the day. The pool has large, curved steps at diagonal ends, the deep end is 2m. The pool and surrounding area are illuminated at night for a late evening swim. The pool is enclosed by walls on three sides and railings, with a lockable gate, on the other.

Interaction with guest

Although we live on site and are available to guests , we also respect their privacy. The gite entrance faces away from our house and is close to the pool area. The gite also has its own private garden where guests can while away the hours.
