Response from the manager
Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback about Hiscox Cottage. We were surprised and disappointed to hear that you were so unhappy there, as this is usually a much loved cottage. We welcome all feedback and the response has, up until now, been overwhelmingly positive. This doesn’t, of course, detract from your experience and thank you for also contacting us directly so that we could move to make amends and to improve. The owner has taken your feedback very seriously, and has made some changes in light of it. For example, the oven is fixed and the steps in the garden have now been fitted with an additional safety barrier. They have also reviewed the bedding, linen and general cleaning to ensure that everything is up to their usual standards. Thank you again for your feedback and I’m glad we were able to assist.
