Great access for hiking and country walks with heavenly countryside right on your doorstep. Lovely bike rides through rolling hills. 7 National Trust sights just a short drive away. Cider farms and warm country pubs waiting to be discovered. Nearby lakes offer fun days out and sailing while Hayes Motor museum, The World Horse Welfare Centre and Fleet Air museum are all only 15 minutes’ drive away. If you want something more energetic Go-Ape at Exeter is less than an hour away.
Rooms
Each of our 5 bedrooms and suites are unique in character. The 2 master bedrooms are both spacious and have king sized beds and en-suites. Sleeps 10. Boasting rich farics, deluxe beds and quirky furniture, the luxury bedrooms at Castlebrook House radiate opulence, with pure wool carpets, making it one of the finest quality examples of a boutique holiday home. One of the bedrooms, “The Butterfly Room” is a small single with room for the comfy bed, chest of drawers and hanging space. Another is a lovely double with oak beams and a low window. There is a dual aspect downstairs bedroom with a fire place and views over the gardens. This is set as a childrens room with a set of double decker bus bunkbeds and a single.

The large open plan lounge has French doors onto the patio with a feature well. A large comfy corner sofa for watching safelight T.V. The log burner is a fantastic focal point, set in a deep inglenook fireplace. The large custom oak and cast-iron dinning table seats 10.
The fantastic kitchen breakfast room is nearly 7m by 7m with bifold doors opening onto the gorgeous garden, dinning patio and hot tub. It has 2 fridge freezers perfect for large groups. A range cooker for the perfect family meals. A wine cooler to keep the drinks chilled for the alfresco dinning and a large breakfast bar for casual meal and sociable cooking. There is a double Belfast sink and dishwasher to make clearing up easy. The cupboards and larder hold all the cooking utensils and crockery for a family or group of 10.
A utility room makes tidy work for all your laundry needs with a washing machine and tumble dryer. There is also ironing facilities and a 2nd sink. A down stairs cloak room and coat cupboard lead off the large hall and entrance.
The lawned garden is about an acre with fruit trees and shrubs, with enough room for all the family whether they want to relax or get active. There is a badminton and croquet court and equipment. Lawn bowls with 2 sets of boules. French Boules on gravel. Table tennis and football to keep both the children and adults entertained.
There are various patios and seating areas, in the landscaped grounds, to sit in the shade or sunbathe with loungers and reading areas. There are 2 double hammock style sunbeds to relax and soak up the sun. A barbeque and outside dinning is situated right outside the kitchen, perfect for alfresco catering. A large table, solid teak benches and chairs seat 10 comfortably for a meal with family or friends.
