Treat yourself to extra space by staying in our unique 5 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment with huge wrap-around terrace (165 sqm internal with 85 sqm terrace) - the largest apartment of the 3,300 apartments on Condado de Alhama. This was originally 2 adjoining apartments (a 3 bed and a 2 bed both built in 2009) until 2013 when they were converted into one apartment. A plan of the layout, all on one level, is available to view in the photo gallery (click on the zoom magnifying glass to see in full). Both apartments have retained their kitchens so the 2 bed is similar to a self-contained extension. We are registered with, and have been inspected by, the Murcia Tourist Board - a process all holiday accommodation providers should go through.

Ideal for a large family (or two families) on a summer holiday together on a safe family-friendly resort or, outside of the summer, a group of up to 8 golfers looking for comfortable living whilst playing many of the excellent courses in the area (help can be provided with golf). There are 9 beds in total (including 1 camp bed) plus a travel cot and the maximum number of persons of 10 is based on 6 people using the 6 single beds, 2 people using the double bed, 2 people using the super-king sized bed. There is also a fold-up camp bed and a travel cot.

Outside on the terrace, in addition to the 8 seater patio dining table and chairs you can see on the terrace in the main photo, we have 6 loungers, a recliner chair plus other chairs and small tables and a charcoal BBQ. There is a retractable awning plus other cover as well as the tree on one side as per the photo.

La Isla of Condado de Alhama Golf Resort was constructed in 2009 and is located on an exclusive island (La Isla) with its own 24 hour security over the moat entrance. Enjoy long lazy meals on the extended expansive terrace (22 paces on one side and 15 paces the other side) with views over the lake and towards the Carrascoy mountain. Condado is very much an international resort with many owners from Norway, Denmark and Spain as well as Scotland, England, Wales and Ireland. Free access to large infinity swimming pools (with child sections), activity & child play areas on the island. Short 5 min walk to the resort supermarket, bars, restaurants & beauty/spa treatment plus new Park next to la Isla opened in 2018 with play areas and basketball / 5 a side football court. Pay and play golf and sports facilities on the resort. Short drive to fabulous child-friendly beaches and numerous sea-side restaurants at Puerto de Mazarron and Bolnuevo and only 25 minutes from the new Murcia Corvera airport (RMU) opened Jan 2019. The internet is 100 mbs wifi, 2 LCD TVs (with UK & European Freeview TV and 2 hard drive recorders with over 100 recorded films), blu-ray DVD player with surround sound (& plenty of popular blu-ray DVDs) and top of the range aircon (in all bedrooms and both living rooms).

There are 2 bathrooms with one of them having a very large shower and the other a bath. Water filter in the kitchen so no need to buy bottled water. There is a lift to our 2nd floor apartment. The golf course was designed by Jack Nicklaus course with extensive practice facilities. There are sets of golf clubs (right handed) available for free use by guests. We have lived as a family in Murcia for many months so know the area very well and provide a detailed 25 page information pack (including lots of restaurant and beach suggestions) to guests.

Two modern kitchens with two fridge freezers and a dishwasher, microwave and filtered tap water (no need to buy bottled water). Aircon in all 5 bedrooms and both living rooms. Ceiling fans also in 2 of the bedrooms. Patio doors from 3 of the 5 bedrooms open on to the large terrace, Large wardrobes. Dining table. Two sofas. Two patio tables. Sun loungers and recliner patio chairs. 1 super-king sized bed, 1 double bed, 6 single beds and 1 camp bed. Many books and DVDs (incl blu-ray discs) and surround sound with two satellite LCD TVs, nintendo wii (plus wii games) and wireless internet (10 mb wifi) in the apartment along with ipod speakers, radio, telescope, binoculars, sports equipment such as padel tennis, petanque and badminton rackets and local maps/info. Washing machine on the terrace outside. There is a toddler bed guard. Other baby equipment can be hired. See photos for more information.

Further details outdoors

A guest staying on the island has free access to a children's play area and outdoor sports and gym equipment along with a wooden clubhouse (which also has free wifi). There are two large infinity pools (25m by 10m) on the island which both have an inbuilt shallow children's area and pergolas for shade. On the resort there are bars and restaurants with supermarket and a beauty/spa treatment facility - all a 5 min walk away. Tennis, basketball, paddle tennis, football and related equipment are hirable. Discounted golf rates available to guests at around 50 euros (and twilight golf often available at 35 euros) - the course on the resort is called 'Signature Alhama' and was voted best course in Murcia in 2012. Use one of our golf club sets for free. It is a 20 min drive to lovely child-friendly beaches or a 35 min drive to the ancient city of Cartagena with its Roman Amphitheatre. La Manga Club and the Mar Menor is a 45 minute drive as also is the Archena Spas. Low cost airlines fly to Murcia (45 mins) and Alicante (1.25 hours) airports. Average temps in Murcia are normally approx. 10°C warmer than central England.

How do damage deposits work?

If Chris (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
