*Shorter stays of 5-6 nights are OK, but carry a $250 fee. ALL cleaning fees, concierge & personal escort to our villa are included. VI Hotel Taxes of 12.5% will be collected by Trip Advisor.

Rental Agreement: If you book with TripAdvisor, you will still be required to sign our standard Rental Agreement and Liability Waiver that supersedes any prior agreements. Our guests usually rent 7 night stays. Shorter stays of 5 nights are available with a $250 short-stay surcharge. We ask our guests to keep the noise level low after 8PM as we are in a quiet, rural residential community where sounds carry on the wind. The natural night sounds are magical.

Beautiful house but beware of roaches

The house was beautiful on the outside with great views. The kitchen was smaller than it looks in pictures and to get to the bathroom you have to go outside and down the stairs, so not great at night… More

We had good planning and communication with these guests as we do with all of our guests. Their experience was not the norm. When they arrived on Thursday with our personal greeter, all was normal. They saw the first insect later that evening. Our contract is clear that you need to reach to us with any concern, even if it is the middle of the night to allow us to take care of those concerns immediately. The first mention to me was Sunday evening (4 days later). Our island manager met with them for another purpose Sunday afternoon and nothing was brought to her attention. I had planned the exterminator for Monday however they had already decided to go to a hotel. As every villa on the island does, we have a regularly scheduled exterminator because the environment is heavily wooded which provides privacy. Of course we would have had him come out for an extra appointment on Friday if we had been made aware. They were trying to be patient but it resulted in their loss of sleep. We apologize they did not have the ideal vacation as most do. We have many return guests. This is not an issue at our villas. They were nice guests. Unfortunately we were not contacted in time and given the opportunity to service them.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Brian (the owner) a message.

If Brian (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
