All cooking essentials are included in your rental, eg. spices, oils, sauces etc WHY NOT ORDER ON LINE WITH WAITROSE,SAINSBURYS,TESCO TO NAME BUT A FEW AND I WILL TAKE IN DELIVERY FOR YOU SO EVERYTHING IS READY CHILLED FOR YOUR ARRIVAL.

We have an arrangement with a local farm to supply superb quality meat,

including sausages, burgers and free range eggs. The locally reared beef steaks are to die for so try a delicious Sirloin or Fillet.

Anyone wanting to cook in the professional kitchen must undergo an induction ( typically 10 mins)

The ACCOMMODATION in the Fitzhead Inn is arranged in a separate annex block, around the totally private courtyard . Perfect if anybody wants some peace and quiet while others party !!

There is a fully functional barbecue in the courtyard for outdoor cooking.

The ACCOMMODATION consists of 5 award winning, centrally heated rooms, 4 double bedrooms and 1 twin bedded room, which are steeped in character and history but have a modern feel. The rooms are tastefully decorated with quality furnishings , bed linen including towels is supplied. All the rooms have en-suite bathrooms, tea and coffee making facilities, free wi-fi & television.

YES ALL ROOMS ARE EN SUITE AND HAVE THERE OWN TELEVISIONS.

A Travel cot is available on request.

The entertaining area is split into two connecting areas, the snug area (with bar) and the second area is the main space which consists of 2 sofas and an armchair arranged around the traditional log burning stove and TV. For eating there are 2 tables seating 6 and 4 which can be configured together if required.

All areas have a good internet connection. However the mobile phone signal in the village is very weak . A landline is available on the premises for urgent calls.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send David (the owner) a message.

If David (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
