Located just 8 miles south of Lake Arrowhead, you have a full 4-lane hwy to our cutoff & then never on a road on the side of a cliff! It is a relaxing & easy drive!

This beautiful A-Frame is ONE OF ONLY TWO homes with UNOBSTRUCTED VIEWS of Lake Gregory, located DIRECTLY ACROSS FROM THE LAKE with the easiest access to the Lake! Simply walk a few steps to the lowest entry incline to the Lake to fish from the shore.

The lake house boasts a FULL LAKE VIEW FROM EACH & EVERY ROOM except from the 2 bathrooms. It sleeps 4 with 1 queen size bed and 1 pull out sofa bed. There is cable TV, large deck with patio furniture, a propane BBQ and secured wireless internet access. The house is fully furnished, and you will only need to bring your toothbrush. The water & power will be on as our groundskeeper lives in the apartment downstairs. The Lake is just a stones throw away from the guest house's exquisitely designed front deck and stairs, designed and built by a local woodworking artist, our groundskeeper! The woodworking designs on the deck, railings and stairs is called ANIMATED woodworking. Check out the pictures on this listing.

Memorial Day Weekend (last weekend in May) marks the beginning of Lake Gregory's swimming areas and boat rentals that stays open the entire summer until Labor Day (the first weekend of September). During that time you can enjoy the new & exciting 13,755 square foot Rim of the World Waterpark along with two 300 ft. water slides, water fountain, the safe but fun Children's Splash Pad. For the adults, you can enjoy the new Lake Gregory Clubhouse, located right on the Lake. There you can enjoy music, your favorite drinks or cocktails, appetizers and a nice assortment of food items. It is a great vantage point to watch the kids play under lifeguard supervision while you relax, people watch, chat with the friendly locals and just have a good time!

Lake Gregory is located in Crestline CA which is well known for its recreational activities, camping, fishing , shopping, restaurants, a Skate Board Park with Basketball & Tennis Courts, and a brand new high tech library with all the current technological enhancements. It also has a 2.5 mile city planned walk or run around the lake complete with fitness / exercise stations.

Why did we choose our home in Lake Gregory? Not only because we felt VERY SAFE on the road going up the mountain on a DOUBLE LANE HWY ALL THE WAY to the Lake Gregory cutoff but mainly because we are only an hour and 15 minutes away from our Beach House to the Lake House. We can surf in the morning and then ski, snowboard or inner tube that afternoon as Snow Summit is just 15-20 minutes away from the Lake House. The other reasons we choose Lake Gregory is its close proximity to Los Angeles & Orange County. It's only a 1 hour drive from downtown LA and a 1 hour drive from downtown Disneyland which is located in Anaheim CA. This made it very easy for our friends to visit us and spend the day in the mountains and enjoy the Lake. We are also only a short 10 minute drive to Lake Arrowhead where we enjoy visiting Alpine Village with all it's shops (but we also can escape from the crowds in a split second) and we also enjoy the Sunday Brunch at Woody's, in Alpine Village, our favorite dessert after the brunch is the Banana's Foster … made to order … YUMMM!!!!
