Our two bedroom home is situated right on the sea front, and only a short walk to the historically preserved village of Cromarty. Enjoy an abundance of walks along the beach, around the village and out to the famous "Souters" headland. The extremely clean, sandy beach and clear waters offer a safe environment, and provides a unique opportunity to spot dolphins, seals and other wild life. Whether you're looking to explore this charming town, potter around by the shore or just watch life by the sea, this promises to be a relaxing and memorable vacation venue.

The house is very cosy with central heating throughout and plenty hot water. There is a large bathroom and walk in shower unit . and new Kitchen. good size living room with large front facing bay window with uninterrupted views of the sea and mountains beyond .Comfortable seating with large flat screen TV,. upstairs there are two good size bedrooms with 1 double bed in front room and 2 single to rear ,with quality bedding and bed linen There is a good sized conservatory/breakfast room at the rear of house with access from Kitchen leading out on to very private deck area .The front of house is laid out in paving and makes a lovely sun deck for wildlife spotting ,boats pottering , or just relaxing .

Cromarty offers a wealth of interests and attractions for all age groups ,There are fine 18th-century merchant houses, an ancient church made famous by being greatly successful in the BBC's 'Restoration Village' programme and a museum honouring the remarkable 19th-century geologist and writer Hugh Miller. Hundreds of years of history are waiting for you to explore in its streets and narrow vennels. Cromarty people are welcoming and always pleased to help. Walk the nearby coast and cliffs, mountain bike the trails at Learnie Rock ,go dolphin and wildlife spotting with Ecoventures from the local harbour .take the smallest ferry in britain accross the cromarty firth to taste whisky at the famous Glenmorangie Distillery where quality whisky can be tasted .Search the local beach where fossils and rare shells are still being discovered Visit the old town of Dornoch where the wedding of Madona took place it has a wonderful Cathedral and famous Golf course . A little further is the imposing Dunrobin Castle Go west and take the bridge to the magical isle of Skye or visit Ullapool where you can sall to Stornoway on the Isle of Lewis in the outer Hebrides. Drive south and visit the famous Loch Ness and monster visitor centre.Visit the caledonian canal and watch the boats go through the locks at Fort Augustus . Avimore ski centre is an hour drive away. A ten minute drive from Cromarty takes you to Fortrose where you can play Golf ,Try sailing ,or drive down to Chanory Point where you can see Dolphins very close in to shore ,and yes the best chippie on the black isle also a well stocked supermarket
