WITH 12 BEAUTIFUL BEACHES WITHIN 8 kms, Pebbles is ideally located. It is a small and cosy gite renovated using natural stone and wood in Breton style, and furnished to a high standard. Downstairs there is a brand new living room/kitchen with cooker, microwave, fridge, washing machine, DVD player and music centre. There is also an attractive tiled shower room with toilet and basin. The staircase leads to a twin-bedded room with connecting double bedrooms, ideal for a family of three or four if the fourth person is a child (bed 4 is a zed or click-clack bed). Pebbles is situated at Kergalet, a tiny sleepy hamlet just outside Crozon and about six miles from Camaret-sur-Mer. Our nearest village with boulangerie is Lanveoc about 1.5 miles, and the town of Crozon with supermarkets and shops, cafes, bars and restaurants is just 2 miles away. Enchanting Camaret has numerous restaurants, bars and cafes. Camaret is also famous for its artists' quarter and the fort and church on the breakwater.

The gite, as described on the site, is small - fine for a young family but too small for 4 adult sized people for two weeks. Cleanliness on arrival had indeed been not up to standard, but 4 hours of deep cleaning and a partial refund were applied as compensation. Description of the futon double as a camp bed, of the necessity for extra cleaning post the remedies, and the age of the bedding are fanciful.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Guy (the owner) a message.

If Guy (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
