AT THE WESTIN ST. JOHN RESORT...3BRs ADVERTISED ARE NOT ALL THE SAME - THIS IS A 3BR 'POOL VILLA'....NOT A 3BR 'BAY VISTA' or "CORAL VISTA" VILLA. HUGE difference! The 3BR 'Pool Villas' were built from scratch and have their own private pools, courtyards and 2,850 sq.ft. of two level space! The "Coral Vista & Sunset Bay Vista Villas are HALF the square footage (1,470 inc. balconies) and DO NOT have private pools, courtyards or BBQs. The 3BR Pool Villas are NOT 'up the hill'. They are on FLAT GROUND and do not require incline walking. Parking is right in front of the Villa. The 3BR 'BAY VISTA' and "CORAL VISTA" units are hotel rooms converted into timeshare condos. Their parking lot is far away.. BEFORE BOOKING: ASK....'IS THIS A 3BR PRIVATE POOL VILLA?'

The on-site Watersports Team offers scuba, sailing, private yacht & boat rentals, snorkeling trips, & every imaginable tour. On the beach, there is also the use of the non-motorized water toys. There is also a fantastic on-site deli, pizzeria, and shopping (outstanding jewelry store). For the kids, a superior kids & teen club, Iguana Feedings, weekly visits from 'The Crab Man' for crab races & loads of free give-aways, arts & crafts, sandsculpting contests, scavenger hunts, babysitting services, huge floating trampolines & climbing icebergs in the ocean, sightseeing tours, and tennis or sailing lessons. St. John is by far the prettiest and most pristine of the US Virgin Islands. Thanks to Laurence Rockefeller, approximately two-thirds of the island was deeded to the US Park Service as National Park area... that means NO overcrowding, NO high-rises, and simply NO development over most of the island. With dozens and dozens of spectacular, crescent-shaped beaches and nooks and crannies around the entire island, you will always find a deserted beach all to yourself!

As an added plus...there's also oodles of other islands (both US and British Virgins) just a few minutes away you can visit by sail or speed boat. This protected little gem of an island is one of the most picturesque places our family has ever been to...and we have been to Hawaii, Fiji, Tahiti, the Greek Islands, Africa, Japan, China, much of the Orient, most of the Caribbean, Mexico, Brazil and elsewhere.

The Westin St. John is ez to get to. After arrival in St. Thomas, the Westin's check-in desk is right at baggage pick up. Check in, and hop on their bus. They drive you to a nearby Marina, you board their private ferry, and after a 10 minute boat ride across the Sir Francis Drake Channel to St. John, they drop you off right at the Westin Dock. They hand you a cold rum swizzle or fruit punch drink, and golf cart you to your Villa! Your baggage arrives minutes later!
