Le Point is a small charming and comfortable artist's house in the unspoilt village of Cucuron which lies inside the Luberon Nature Park in the Provence region of the south of France, 35Km north of Aix-en-Provence.

Cucuron has many original medieval features to explore and a traditional market on Tuesdays around the bassin (large carp pond) and square which is shaded by towering, 200-year-old plane trees. The village includes a cooperative wine cellar where local wines can be tasted and where a walking trail starts and you can discover the wine-growing activity around the area from a historical standpoint.

It is located half way between Avignon and Aix and makes an ideal base for exploring Provence or just to relax and unwind at any time of the year. There is riding or hiking from the village up into the Luberon and scenic lake swimming at the nearby Etang de la Bonde. In the summer there are numerous festivals and cultural events to enjoy nearby.

The house is ideal for a couple or small family but please note that the ancient stone stairs to the first floor are quite steep so it would not be suitable if you have issues with mobility.

Thank you, we are glad you enjoyed your holiday. We understand the clock strikes twice in rural villages like Cururon so the workers out in the fields around the village can hear it and count the chimes on the second ring. :)

Why can't I call Matthew (the owner) before booking?

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Matthew (the owner) a message.

If Matthew (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
