Delightful house with private pool and garden in the heart of pretty village of Daglan. Shops, restaurants and weekly market within easy walking distance.

This lovely house nestles in the centre of the beautiful village of Daglan, with shops, restaurants and the Ceou river all at walking distance. The house benefits from its private garden, pool and parking - a rare advantage in a Dordogne village! Imagine lying in bed in the morning and sending the kids to fetch the croissants!

Interior Description:

The front door opens onto an entrance hall which in turns gives access to:

- A spacious living room with wooden floors, leather sofa and armchairs, coffee table, lamps and the all important wood burning stove for extra comfort and warmth in low season.

- An open plan fully fitted kitchen, with dishwasher, fridge freezer, oven, hob, coffee machine, kettle and toaster.

- An independent dining room with solid wooden dining table seating 6

- A ground floor double bedroom with bedside tables, lamps and wardrobe

- A bathroom with bath with shower over and washbasin

- A separate toilet

- A washing machine is situated under the stairs for your convenience.

A flight of wooden stairs leads from the hallway up top the first floor and opens onto:

- a large sitting area with TV and DVD player (TV for DVD only) and sofa bed

- A second double bedroom with bedside tables, lamps and wardrobe

- A twin bedroom with two single beds, bedside tables, lamps and wardrobe.

- A brand new shower room with shower, washbasin and toilet

Internet access on WiFi throughout the property.

Although the house is extremely comfortable and well equipped, it is most likely that you will spend most of your time outside!

- The entrance driveway leading to the house provides private enclosed parking for two cars just in front of the house

- A terrace area is equipped with dining table and chairs, and a parasol provides shade for al fresco meals. There is a stone built barbecue.

- The garden is mostly lawned, with established shrubs giving privacy and lovely views over the park situated behind the house.

- And last but not least the private pool, measuring 8m x 4m, is not only fenced in but also fitted with a submerged alarm for the children's safety. There are sun loungers and parasols for relaxing poolside afternoons.

Why can't I call the property manager before booking?

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.
