Residence Arabesque Dahab offers luxurious unique boutique rental accommodation combining traditional Islamic features and modern open plan living. A small compound of two one-bedroom apartments and a three bedroom villa right in the heart of Dahab.

We are centrally located in between Lighthouse and Eel Garden and therefore within only a couple of minutes walk to local beaches, dive sites, restaurants and shops.Built and furnished to an exceptional standard Residence Arabesque offers Islamic features throughout including traditional handmade floor tiles, hand printed fabrics and reclaimed antique iron work. Islamic arches link rooms providing modern open plan living and traditional domes create natural air-conditioning.

The private gardens accessible from Garden and Villa Arabesque are professionally maintained and are a little oasis in the desert with date palms, olives, peach and fig trees. Hibiscus and Bougainvillea bring colour to the garden whist Jasmine provides the unique and memorable scent of North Africa. The spiral staircase leads to the roof terrace for panoramic views towards the Red Sea and Sinai Mountains.

We also offer the only purpose built wheelchair accessible accommodation in Dahab. Garden Arabesque has a wheel-in wet-room style shower with handrails next to the shower and the toilet, we also have a shower chair available for rent. The bathroom and kitchen sinks are designed for knee clearance in manual and most electric wheelchairs. The kitchen work surface in low enough to be easily used by wheelchair users and able bodied guests. There are adaptations in the kitchen to make life easy such as pull out drawers and a small dishwasher.

Garden Arabesque is a large one bedroom ground floor apartment. It can sleep up to three adults as there is an additional single daybed in the lounge. Garden Arabesque takes its name from the beautiful private garden and outside domed terrace. The large bedroom has two twin beds, plenty of built in storage and a/c. Two large windows look out on to the front garden.The bathroom has a large modern walk in wet room style shower, sink, toilet and plenty of storage.The large open plan kitchen/dining area is fully equipped with sleek black marble work tops and breakfast bar. There is an electric hob, microwave grill/oven, toaster, kettle, French coffee press and large fridge freezer. From the dining area double doors with antique ironwork lead onto the domed terrace – effectively an additional outside room. Bamboo furniture and hammock provide plenty of places to sit, relax and enjoy the beautiful garden.The living room adjoins the kitchen/dining room through a large arch. Islamic arched storage makes a beautiful feature and again large double windows this time facing the back garden and two full size date palms.

With a young family of our own we are very family orientated and can provide at no additional cost all the necessary equipment that makes travelling with young children more difficult.We offer a high standard of accommodation at competitive prices. There is free WIFI available to all our guests and our manager who lives locally is available to assist you during your stay.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Sophie (the owner) a message.

If Sophie (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
