Woodsideis a cottage with Hottub , full fibre broadband , all the amenities that you will need. Mountain biking from the door , the mabie Forrest is 500yards away so biking and walking is easy., the cottage is fitted out to a high standard , we like quality when we holiday so try to give the same.

There are lots of things to do around the area ,Dumfries and Galloway has a lot to offer.

We have 5 cottages available so we could do a party of 20 using all lodges,all have hot tubs.

Just seen this review and wow , really sorry for anything that wasn’t to your satisfaction, hottub is checked regularly and it’s on the second set of control buttons , after your stay we went over everything to make sure the next guests have a satisfactory time here . We now ask all guests about their stay and have had 100% feedback as we have had for the last 6 years . The bed has been replaced which was only 2 yrs old and expensive it was the base that was making a noise, you were the first to Mention this. We have been to many lodges and don’t get this standard in any ! Usually got to pay for electric and with a tub can be £60 a weekend when the cover is off all the time , full sky tv , WiFi , heating etc . Really sorry that the listing mentioned it was a new lodge well yes 6 yrs ago so we will not mention this from now on . Thank you for your review the first 3 bubble in 6 yrs and poor comments and of course your positive comments.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Nigel (the owner) a message.

If Nigel (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
