Just 15 min. from Letchworth Park, Cabin Creek Getaway features a secluded cabin next to a cascading stream. The cabin is off the grid, with modern conveniences. The property contains 100 acres of forest, trails, and abundant wildlife. ATV Riding and Hunting Leases available by special arrangement.

The Space:

This rustically beautiful cabin, built in 2013, is completely off the grid! Solar power provides 12 volt electricity for lighting and recharging electronics. Oil lamps give a beautiful ambiance. Water is gravity fed. The bathroom is equipped with a composting toilet. LP gas powers the hot water, stove, and half-size refrigerator. A natural heating wood stove turns the cooler evenings comfortably cozy. (Note: 12V system will not power appliances such as hair dryers). We encourage and prefer our guests to bring your own bedding, but bedding is available at $15/bed, payable on arrival. Please let us know if you are requesting bedding. Bath, body wash & shampoo, percolating coffee pot, fully equipped kitchen, firewood, and a small library of outdoor & self-sufficiency books provided.

Now Emilee knows why we named our cabin the "Getway"! We're also glad Emilee appreciated the effort we put into keeping the cabin as clean as we can for our guests to feel comfortable in. She took marvelous care of the property herself during her stay! Guests bringing their own ATV's always enjoy our 3+ miles of trails over terrain varying from steep & rugged grades, to long gentle benches through our 100 acre forest. We're so glad Emilee & her friends found us, and hope to see them again during one of our other beautiful seasons! David & Terry

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

Go to Manage your holiday booking to cancel your booking. Here you can view your cancellation policy to see if you’ll be refunded.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send David (the owner) a message.

If David (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
