A sophisticated detached sandstone barn conversion perfect for discerning families to enjoy Yorkshire at it's best.

Clustered around a green and dovecot Dale View Barn along with it's neighbour Beacon View Barn form part of the important Grade ll listed farmstead of Crag House Farm in the heart of the beautiful North York Moors National Park.

Rest assured you will be in good hands here. Dale View Barn is rated by Visit England as 5 star and achieved their "Gold Award" for Exceptional Quality of Accommodation and Customer Service.

Dale View has 2 private south facing walled gardens (one of which used to be our children's little fat ponies starvation paddock!) equipped with a bbq, electric points and lighting within an oak and cedar pagoda for al fresco dining. There are stunning views across Danby Dale and the heather moorland beyond.

Dale View Barn........a few snippets!

Not many bedrooms have an original sandstone pillar at the foot of the bed, Dale View has one supporting the ancient oak beam and joists. This unusual room also has a south facing glass door leading into the garden.

Be wowed by the 12-foot high internal glazed opening in the master bedroom that looks directly onto the light and airy sitting room and it's green oak gallery.

Large ground-floor wet room and a luxury bathroom with a double roll top bath and separate shower on the first floor.

With a large family farmhouse kitchen and separate fully equipped utility room, Dale View's antique elm dining table is all ready to host groups of 12 when both barns (Dale View and Beacon View) are booked together.

Geothermal underfloor heating, wood burning stove, LED mood lighting, Bo Concept sofa's, big comfy brass beds makes for a cosy retreat after a busy day enjoying Yorkshire.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

Go to Manage your holiday booking to cancel your booking. Here you can view your cancellation policy to see if you’ll be refunded.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Elizabeth (the owner) a message.

If Elizabeth (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
