From the owner

Our Beach Bungalow (Actual Entire House) is very comfortable with lots of character and space. Cozy in winter, sunny in summer and perfectly situated near the border of De Kelders and Perlemoen Baai. It is place where you can put your feet up after a hard day at the beach and just take it easy. Breath-taking ocean views from both the lower pool deck and the upper deck, uncapped WiFi (upstairs). Large flat screen TV with Netflix and much much more.

Space

We welcome you to our Caribbean inspired Beach Bungalow and encourage you to enjoy this magical place, its stunning views, and large living spaces. From the Trinidadian inspired Blue Door out front to the comfortable yellow Adirondack chairs on the upper deck where we like to enjoy our morning coffees or late day sundowners, the house is yours to enjoy. On the main floor you'll find an inside braai/bbq area which doesn't receive a good wifi or mobile signal, by design of course, where you can sit with family and friends and gaze into the fire while you chat about the days events, or not. The splash pool has a wooden deck from where the ocean view and sun can be enjoyed. On the upper deck are the two yellow Adirondack chairs as well as a very comfortable and large blue and white cushion for laying out and taking the sun. The house has a fully equipped compact kitchen with microwave, stove, oven, refrigerator, and freezer. In the scullery next to the kitchen there is a washing-machine, and dishwasher. The kitchen door leads to outside patio. In this area there is a washing line. The three bedrooms (2 bedrooms with one queen bed each, and 1 bedroom with 2 single beds ) each have their own en-suite bathroom. The main bedroom with a queen bed looks out over the splash pool and down to the sea. In the lounge there is a bookcase with enough books for those who want to read and relax. The wood underneath the fire place in the braai/bbq room is for you to use and enjoy. Feel free to use the coffee, tea, spices, etc. in the food cupboard in the kitchen and make yourself at home.

We enjoyed the pool, the lovely views , having a large tv, the owners were particularly accommodating with anything that we requested, and very quick to respond.

Beautiful beach house

The location is amazing, with wonderful sea views from the main bedroom, lounge and top sun deck. This is a family friendly house with a lovely splash pool. We saw lots of whales and a small school of… More

Why can't I call RACHEL (the owner) before booking?

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send RACHEL (the owner) a message.

If RACHEL (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
