'Chest-Tre', a traditional and lovely cornish stone cottage in Delabole village, 3 miles from Tintagel, North Cornwall. Camelford 3 miles. Boscastle quaint fishing village only 5 miles. Trebarwith Strand good beach 3 miles & favourite Polzeath beach 10 miles. Beautiful coastal walks along the rugged North Cornwall coastline. This lovely old cottage is a short stroll to the Poldark Inn (food)and afterwards take the footpath leading from the Inn to Trebarwith Strand sandy beach (probably under 2 miles from the Inn) the sea and coastal walks - or walk along the coast in the opposite direction to Port Isaac. The cottage is also a stroll to The Workmans Inn (food) and the village General Stores. A few minutes stroll to Ferndale farm coarse fishing lakes. The village has a large park with swings etc. Good size rear enclosed lawn visible in photo.

Delabole is a largich and traditional cornish village with a number of good pubs, eating places and a dew shops. Also a large village park. Nearby Tintagel village on the coast boasts King Arthurs Castle perched on a cliff jutting out to sea- a spectacular setting with stunning sea views. A largish village of old pubs, shops and restaurants, with a valley footpath leading from the village down to the tiny beach and castle. Drop into the picturesque fishing village and harbour of Boscastle,a popular tourist destination. Among the attractions are the Museum of Witchcraft, the walk out onto the harbour pier (stunning sea views),the Boscastle pottery shop, and access to the South West Coast Path. Crackington Haven has a good sandy beach and is a favourite with walkers, right on the coastal footpath. There are toilet facilities near the beach and lifeguard cover in the summer. Although the parking and entrance to the beach are at ground level, Crackington Haven boasts the highest cliff in Cornwall called High Cliff (735 feet high). The village has a small shop, two tea rooms and a pub called the Coombe Barton Inn. A little further up the coast is Bude beach resort with miles of excellent classic sandy beaches and a huge free open air swimming pool on the main beach. Lots of other attractions in Bude which include rowing boat hire up Bude Canal, golf course, bird sanctuary, ten pin bowling and much more.
