Your arrival at Welcome Home Inn places you on six wooded acres, a dream constructed in 1997 using a Southern Farmhouse style. Nestled in the country, you relax to the music of singing birds, view deer poised quietly on the edge of the woods and observe scampering raccoons, squirrels and rabbits near the house. A mile walking trail through the trees and foliage provides solitude and a firsthand look at nature providing a scene conducive to meditation or exercise. Yet city life is less than five minutes away.

At this B & B you enjoy the flowering crab trees and redbuds in the spring, stare at the rainbow of hues as trees burst into blazing color in the fall or watch a white wonderland emerge in the winter.

An unusually large dining room with a grand piano resting beneath two antique stained-glass windows accents a romantic atmosphere for dining. The open living room, tastefully decorated with an antique mantel surrounding the fireplace, provides a cozy place where you may curl up with a book on a cool day. Decorative motifs and varied antiques vie for your attention. From Thanksgiving through the end of the year Welcome Home Inn slowly becomes a display of dazzling Christmas beauty.

A delicious candlelight breakfast at an appointed time is provided for your enjoyment. Herbs and items from the gardens of the Inn, along with freshly cut flowers in petite vases, grace the meal in season. Vegetarian or special dietary considerations may be provided upon request. (If you have a conflicting schedule, you may receive a delicious continental breakfast to take on the road or eat later.)

As you spend time on the grounds you may wish to take advantage of the basketball goal, croquet, boche ball, Frisbee, whiffle ball, or even volleyball for a larger group. Inside games as well as videos and books are available upon request. These things are especially helpful for families and reunion groups that spend time together.

Why can't I call Forrest (the owner) before booking?

You can exchange contact details with the property owner/manager once your booking is confirmed and you’ve paid in full. Paying and communicating only through our platform allows us to ensure that your booking is covered by our Payment Protection policy.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Forrest (the owner) a message.

If Forrest (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
