Spacious, light-filled, home on private ski & swim lakes only minutes from downtown and all major arteries--I 70, I 76, I 25, hwy 36. Peaceful, bucolic location in the midst of the city with lots of fruit trees, flowers, wildlife. Gated community. You're free to walk the beaches throughout this gated community, to stroll over to the peninsula on the main lake on the south, visiting the four miniature donkeys and five friendly llamas and use the community tennis courts. Clear Creek walkway is only minutes away. Baker State Park with its walk/running trail around the reservoir is just across the street.

You are renting a private bedroom and bath in my guest area in the walkout basement, where there may be other guests. The space is very large with lots of privacy. There's a fully equipped guest kitchen in the space with microwave, convection oven, self cleaning oven & stove, DW, coffee maker, fridge with ice maker etc.

The Colorado region

Comfortable bright bedroom, with chest of drawers, two upholstered bedroom chairs, lamp, two tables, and new pillow top queen brass bed, new pillows & comforter, satin finish high thread count sheets, large closet in full ensuite bathroom adjoining the room. This is in my large walkout basement with high ceilings and many windows. Full size windows on the east and north. Directly behind on the north is the back patio and small private lake (not a ski lake). From the front door of the home you can see the biggest the ski lake across the street on the south and the mountains on the west. Balcony upstairs in back, high speed internet & cable, large closet, wifi, great views, spacious yard, A/C and evaporative cooler, humidifier, etc.

Near bus line, Regis University, Dining, 10 minutes from LODO (lower downtown) & Downtown, all major arteries. Easy access to Parks/Recreation, Shopping malls, Suburbs. Across from Baker State Park with a walking/running trail. Boulder and mountains close and easy to get to.

There are shopping centers on 64th and Sheridan (about 5 blocks west) and on 72nd and Federal (about 13 blocks to the northeast). Regis Univ. is about 10 blocks south between Lowell Blvd. and Federal

Getting around

Uber and Lyft are readily available. Westminster Light Rail station is nearby and the Federal Blvd. station is going to open soon. There are also city bus stop near. I 70 and I 76, I 25 all major arteries are easily accessible with onset ramps within several block. Downtown Denver is 10-15 mins. away. Although I'm in a rural and recreation pocket in the city I'm really close to everything. Many people are pleasantly surprised at how they can enjoy the best of all worlds right here staying in my peaceful garden oasis home. on private lakes in a safe, quiet, gated community.

Interaction with guest

I have a new queen size air bed that can be set up in the room to sleep up to four people. There's no extra charge for 3 people but I'll ask another $20 per night for each guest beyond that number. I reserve the right to add an extra fee for dogs and cats and other pets that call for extra cleaning. I live upstairs so I'm readily available to help answer questions and assist with your needs. My assistant, Sarah who is staying in the guest area, will also be available to see that things are kept neat, clean, and in order and to help with your needs.

Be respectful of others who are staying here and property. No indoor smoking of anything, including marijuana. Whatever you want to smoke outside is fine. No illicit drugs.

Please let us know if something is amiss so we can modify or correct it.
Please do not let our animals outside. One cat, Noir, especially wants to get out on his own. The HOA forbids that.
Please talk to me if you want to bring a pet.
