This vacation home is right at the beach You'll love it because of the great ocean views from the living room, balcony and kitchen and dinner area. It has new floors and brand new kitchen. Everything is upgraded. USB ports in kitchen area. The views, especially sunsets from 11th floor patio is amazing. I offer beach chairs/umbrella, Netflix and high speed wireless internet. Pelican Beach Resort has very loyal customers that come back again and again every year.

This is a no smoking facility, smoking is not allowed inside the unit or on the balcony. Resort has the eviction power for those who do not follow the rules. Smoking is only allowed at two designated locations at the Resort.

We do not offer any military or other discounts. Applicable last minute specials are already built-in to the daily rates. -You pay full amount to confirm your reservation. Please check applicable cancellation policy below-

We do a credit card authorization of $300 as a security/damage deposit, one day before check-in, but never charge your credit card. We automatically release this authorization hold 1 day after check-out. -This item may be stated as "deposit paid at the property" in the quote-

There is no road to pass, we are directly on the beach.

PETS are not allowed per the HOA (no matter how small).

During March-October there is beach service at the Pelican Private Beach and beach vendor does not allow chairs/umbrella in front of their rental chairs. For guests that prefer 1st or 2nd row seats, we provide their contact information, so you may reserve seats in advance.

If you reached us through vrbo/homeaway/expedia you will have to book through that channel as we do not accept direct bookings when approached through those channels. For repeat guests we may provide our vacationsatdestin site.

We do not have snowbird monthly rates. We provide a 20% discount for stays longer than 28 days. This discount is already built into the rate you see when you go to "pay now".

Our similar other unit's VRBO listing numbers are given at the end of this description. You may check those if your dates do not show availability.

Cleaning and linen fees are included in our pricing either under "Resort Fee". The longer you stay, the less rent you pay per night since the Resort fee is averaged over your stay.

There is registration at the front desk where they check age requirements and allow up to 6 people to be registered in the unit.

Check-in is at 4 PM and checkout is at 10 AM. Since you directly go to the unit with your assigned door code, there is no deadline for checking in. You may check-in any time after 4 PM of the check-in day, just like you would at your own vacation home.

You will feel the luxury all around you in this condo. The unit is updated with granite counter-tops and new vanities. Kitchen cabinets are upgraded. All of the appliances are replaced with Stainless Steel LG units. The carpets in living room and bedroom areas are replaced with luxury laminate flooring. New 40 inch TV in the bedroom. Separate wifi extender in the bedroom. Freshly painted custom bank beds. New memory foam Twin XL mattress in bunk beds. Cool Gel queen memory foam mattress at the sofa bed. New cabinets in bathrooms. The unit is tastefully decorated with everything that you would need. We even have built-in usb ports in the kitchen area. We operate the rental ourselves as a family so you will get individual attention from me. I have two other units in Destin, Sandestin Resort that are listed in airbnb recently with great reviews. We use same cleaning company with same attention to detail.

Coin operated washer/dryer in the floor, next to the elevators at the laundry room (bring 10 quarters for one washer/dryer cycle).

We have a combination regular and Keurig supported coffee machine.

A pack n' play in the unit (no mattress or linens for Pack n' Play)

We provide beach chairs and umbrella in the unit. You may also rent chairs and umbrella from the beach vendor if you so desire. We provide their contact info so you may rent in advance if you wish to have a frond row chairs.

You will have access to everything Pelican Beach Resort offers. Amenities include 3 pools, sauna, steam room, cafe, Tiki bar, spa, large open deck, tennis courts.

We give privacy to our guests but only a phone call/text away if anything is needed.

Parking is free at the resort covered parking area. Pelican Beach Resort has free beach access, free guest pool, free gym for guests etc.

Cancellation Policy for VRBO and direct booking: 90% refund if cancelled up to 30 days before check-in - vrbo fees are not refundable, no refunds after that.

Parking is free right at the resort covered parking area. Pelican Beach Resort has free beach access, free guest pool, free gym for guests, steam room and sauna etc. It is a family Resort right on the beach with direct ocean views. Our Dolphin unit have direct ocean views and bunk beds with TV. This unit is updated.

Why can't I call the property manager before booking?

You can exchange contact details with the property owner/manager once your booking is confirmed and you’ve paid in full. Paying and communicating only through our platform allows us to ensure that your booking is covered by our Payment Protection policy.

If you have any questions before booking, you can send the property owner/manager a message via the contact form on their listing. Once you’ve booked, you can discuss the rental and make arrangements for your trip by logging into Manage my booking.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

Go to Manage your holiday booking to cancel your booking. Here you can view your cancellation policy to see if you’ll be refunded.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send the property manager a message.

If the property manager agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
