Description

This is a large 3 bedroomed duplex penthouse, very close to shops, bars, restaurants, buses and the Altinkum sea front. I have a double bed in a guest bedroom available for holiday lets. An extra put up bed can be added at an extra cost in this room and the studio.

There is also the choice of a smaller bedroom with twin beds and own private balcony.

Another option is use of the self contained studio, for 1 to 3 people, next to the private bathroom and leading on to your very own private terrace with cooking facilities. Please see all 3 listings.

There is a main bathroom on the same floor as the bedrooms and then upstairs there are doors on to the covered terrace, with an outdoor table and 6 chairs. There is a small hallway which leads in to the kitchen/dining room with a door leading on to the open terrace with tables and chairs and sun beds, and from here you can see the sea. The sea is the Aegean, very clean, shallow and safe for all ages. At night Altinkum comes alive with many bars, restaurants, and a selection of shops, only a 10 minute walk away. There is an arcade with many shops also. There is a Luna Park within walking distance and there is a large fun Aqua park a short bus ride away. The Apollon Temple is a short bus ride away and is a must day and night. Mavesehir is another bus ride away and is the place to shop in the large covered market and to see the sunset and have dinner while the sun is setting.There are many trips you can do from here, from boat trips, to water sports to visit places like Miletos, Priene and Epheseus to name but a few. There is a very large Saturday Market a short bus ride away which not only sells all the local produce but sells clothes, shoes, bags and much more. Bodrum airport is not too far away and Izmir airport is a bit further. Plenty to see and do for all ages. Bike hire and airport transfers can be arranged. I also live in the property.

All is walkable but the local buses are an experience and worth using to go further afield.

Interaction with guest

As much or as little as guests want. We usually hang out in the kitchen or on the large terrace. I also live in the property.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Silvana (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
