' Flip flops ' cottage, in the CENTER OF ST IVES, at 1 Love Lane is an 1800s Fully Renovated (2016) pilchard fisherman's cottage. Fast Wifi. One minute to the right of the cottage is Fore Street (loads of shops, restaurants etc) and the Harbour beach.Two / three minutes to the left is Porthmeor beach, St Ives main beach and the Tate. It has a king size double (en-suite) and a twin (2 full size singles) plus a new decent double sofa bed. All new decoration, new flooring, raised ceilings, new layout, new kitchen,new bathroom with shower and bath, new double glazed windows, better lighting and soundproofing.Thick granite walls keep the cottage cool in summer and cosy in winter. Full GCH. 2 New Smart Samsung TVs with Netflix, fast WiFi, new full metal frame sofa bed for guests 5+6. The kitchen is very well equipped. Outside is a private courtyard with the beach toys, body boards etc we provide, plus seating for drinks in the evening.No traffic passes the cottage at all, there is a free car park next to it.We provide: Linen, towels, beach toys, WiFi, cot, high chair, stair gates, and much more. Flipflops is in a great location in Downalong, the most sought after location in St Ives. No long walk up a hill after your day at the beach.

Why can't I call Derek (the owner) before booking?

You can exchange contact details with the property owner/manager once your booking is confirmed and you’ve paid in full. Paying and communicating only through our platform allows us to ensure that your booking is covered by our Payment Protection policy.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Derek (the owner) a message.

If Derek (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
