Private bungalow with super comfy Queen bed, bathroom, 2 separate toilets. Foldout double bed available to accommodate 4 people in total on open plan but minimum stay is 2 nights for 4. Large air-conditioned North facing sunny comfortable living room overlooking tennis court with basketball hoop and beautiful expansive gardens you can appreciate from the huge deck that gives a blend of relaxing cottage feel and Australian landscape. Free Wifi and Television available. Electric blanket provided in winter for main bed. Well appointed full kitchen, bar and dining area and much much more. Our family comprises of hubby, myself & 21 yr old son, an old loving dog, a 1 yr old indoor cat; 16 chooks and 1 reindeer outdoors. Lots of wild ducks, birdlife around the dam surrounded by beautiful white lilies when in season.

This freestanding bungalow has its own entry but the main house is far enough to ensure your privacy.

15 mins from Victoria's biggest provincial township of Geelong with its spectacular waterfront, shops and eateries,15 mins drive to Ocean Grove & Barwon Heads surf beaches, quaint Portarlington, Queenscliff and mins to nearby renowned wineries such as Jack Rabbit, Leura Park, Flying Brick & many more others. We are also mins to many local golf courses with beautiful settings, there is also "Mini Golf" for the beginners. Close to facilities including numerous selections of supermarkets including Aldi, banks, medical centres, post office, cafes, Music cafes, restaurants etc. You will find delight in the weekly fabulous markets with local produce and handicrafts, rotating around the area.

Car is a necessity or 15-20 mins walk to bus stop for public transport to Geelong and surrounding areas such as Ocean Grove, Clifton Springs, Curlewis, Indented Heads, Barwon Heads, Point Lonsdale and Queenscliff. With just an hr's train ride into the big smoke of Melbourne from Geelong or a ferry ride over to Melbourne's Docklands where you can catch free trams all around Melbourne CBD to savour the cities multicultural cuisines, art galleries, shows, sporting events, etc. you will have the best experience of both rural and city worlds.

If you have your own bike, there're very scenic local bike trails all the way to Queenscliff, etc. But otherwise you can take a walk around the basin or nearby lake.

Novelty "Q" Train and "Blues" Train runs between Drysdale & Queenscliff.

Onsite tennis court. ( racquets and balls available if you do not have your own), basketball loop. Besides our own cricket field/oval, there is also a public sporting arena jogging track about 300meters from us on foot and if you stay long enough, you may enjoy our homegrown seasonal veggies and free-range eggs. We provide continental breakfast needs - milk, juice, cereal, bread, yoghurt, home make jam if available.

We can accommodate babies from 0-9mths old. Cot hire available.

We are also dog friendly if your furry mate has its own bed, toilet trained and is clean and beyond the chewing stage. We are also horse friendly (as we have huge paddocks) and there is a riding trail near the property).

If you see yourself enjoying a pit fire under the stars while you cook your BBQ, with the sunset on one side and the moon coming on the opposite side, contact with nature, scent of gum trees and soil, wandering in the garden and among fruit trees, feeding deer and chickens then this is the place for you in a safe and natural environment. The sound of the wind in the trees and the birds are a relaxing complement to the experience. The location is perfect, a few minutes driving from everywhere, whether you like to visit nurseries, wineries, eateries, or beaches. There are also plenty of areas to walk without using the car and enjoy being in touch with nature.

When you arrive my husband or I will be around to welcome you and to provide any assistance/advice about the area that you may need. We may socialise too, if you so desire, in which case please let us know in advance so we can ensure we are available to give you our time. Happy to interact or assist you with suggestions on places of interest to go around here if you wish or if you prefer to keep to yourselves, we respect that too. If you are going out and worry about getting taxis/uber, my husband will happily drive you to nearby eateries and pick you up for a small fee.

Why can't I call Elizabeth (the owner) before booking?

You can exchange contact details with the property owner/manager once your booking is confirmed and you’ve paid in full. Paying and communicating only through our platform allows us to ensure that your booking is covered by our Payment Protection policy.

If you have any questions before booking, you can send the property owner/manager a message via the contact form on their listing. Once you’ve booked, you can discuss the rental and make arrangements for your trip by logging into Manage my booking.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I pay the balance of my holiday?

You can pay the remaining balance of your holiday at any point. Simply go to Manage my holiday booking and click Pay now.

How can I retract my booking request?

You’ll need to contact Elizabeth (the owner) to do this. Send them a message in Manage your holiday booking or through the contact form on this page.

How do I cancel my booking?

Go to Manage your holiday booking to cancel your booking. Here you can view your cancellation policy to see if you’ll be refunded.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Elizabeth (the owner) a message.

If Elizabeth (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
