From the owner

Beautifully appointed first floor apartment in a gorgeous, converted red brick Victorian property, situated in the historic Dublin 8 district. The property has a large open plan kitchen and a clean, modern and spacious living room and is full of charm and character. There is solid oak flooring throughout the space, it was all completely renovated in 2008 and it is beautifully finished. The large rooms all have original cornicing, high ceilings and an open fireplace.

The apartment has one bedroom with a double and single bed, and a pull out sofa bed in the living room. You can easily and comfortably sleep up to five people and we provide all linens and towels, etc.

There is an exceptionally spacious bathroom with twin basins and large power shower, that is great after a long day exploring the sights and sounds of Dublin town!

The kitchen comes with a separate utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer, which you are free to use if you need.

There is a patio area to the rear and and an enclosed yard providing free onsite private parking.

Location:

Close to Kilmainham Gaol, IMMA, Phoenix Park, and the must-see Dublin institution the Guinness Brewery! We are the ideal base for your visit to Dublin. The bus stop is almost outside the door and the Luas stop is only a 5 minute walk. Served by route 13 and route 40 buses you are less than 15 minutes from the very centre of town, Dame St. and O'Connell St and the world famous nightlight spot, Temple Bar. You are minutes from Heuston Station and less than thirty minutes from the airport.

We are close to supermarkets (Tesco, just across the road), hair and beauty salons, bars and restaurants, a playground, banks, pharmacies and butcher shops all just down the street on Tyrconnell Road.

We have secure onsite parking to the rear at no extra charge!

Why can't I call Timothy (the owner) before booking?

You can exchange contact details with the property owner/manager once your booking is confirmed and you’ve paid in full. Paying and communicating only through our platform allows us to ensure that your booking is covered by our Payment Protection policy.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I cancel my booking?

Go to Manage your holiday booking to cancel your booking. Here you can view your cancellation policy to see if you’ll be refunded.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Timothy (the owner) a message.

If Timothy (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
