Budget holiday apartment in the heart of the city centre (Dublin 1) – with restaurants, theatres, and museums, quite literally on your doorstep!
This small apartment would most suit a couple or two friends travelling together, or 4 adults if you do not mind a small environment (maximum occupancy 4). The apartment has one main double bed in a separate room, and a day-bed (which converts to a double bed) upstairs in a separate room. The sofa in the living room also converts to an additional sofa-bed (single). There is a combined living room/kitchen, and a bathroom with bath and over-bath shower. This budget apartment is extremely good value given the very central location - and is priced accordingly as the decoration is not high-spec. But what is offered is a fantastic base in the heart of the city centre with everything on your doorstep - so if you want a cheap stay in the city centre for nearly half the price of other listings, then look no further.
The apartment is on the top floor (3rd floor) of a restored Georgian building in the heart of historic Georgian Dublin. Cultural hotspots are less than a minute’s walk away on Parnell Square; Including the Hugh Lane Gallery, Dublin Writers Museum, The Gate Theatre, and The Ambassador Theatre, to name a few. The famous Chapter One (Michelin starred restaurant) is also less than a minutes walk on Parnell Square North.
Please note, the apartment is part of a residents/ owner occupied apartment block, with curfews on noise after 10pm and strict no smoking and no pets policy. So if you are looking for a simple quiet base in the heart of the city, from which to explore, this apartment could be perfect for you.
The direct express airport coach stop is also within 5 minutes walk on O Connell Street, and the Parnell Square stop on the hop-on-hop-off Dublin tour bus is less than a minutes walk. The apartment is in the heart of the city - there is a wonderful selection of restaurants, bars, and cafes within a minutes walk (e.g. The Hot Stove, Parnell Heritage Bar and Grill, Candy Cafe, Lovingspoon cafe) - you will not need to spend time and money on taxis and public transport.
We had over 20 positive reviews (overall 4 star rating) when we had the apartment listed previously (in 2017). We have recently reactivated our listing after long-term occupancy, but our reviews are no longer there. Please look at pictures and read listing thoroughly, and check you are happy with budget accommodation in a fantastic location at an incredible price.
Please note the following before booking:
*The apartment is on the 3rd floor, with no elevator, so it is not suitable for those with mobility difficulties or for children.
*Check-in time is between 3pm and 8pm, but it may be possible outside of these hours, so please message to enquire. Check-out time is 12noon (late check-out may be possible if needed, if no guests are checking in the next day).
*Please be aware the apartment is not a high-spec modern apartment, so is priced much lower than other apartments in this central location. It is budget accommodation. So if you are happy with this, it is an excellent value city-centre base from which to explore.
