“Great cottage, perfect for exporting beautiful Weardale”

Reviewed 6 May 2012

Spotlessly clean, well appointed cottage with gorgeous views from the main bedroom which was a real sun trap. A short, pretty walk into the village centre meant we had access to all the amenities we needed, including an outdoor swimming pool (though we didn't dare try this!). Also very easy access to many lovely walks perfect for us & our two dogs, with the Weardale Way just 10 yards away. Recommend the Black Bull in Frosterley on a Wednesday for stone baked pizzas, about a 20-30 min walk from the cottage if you don't want to take the car (turn left out of front door & keep going). All in all a very relaxing, enjoyable break - perfect for recharging the batteries. Will definately revisit.
