The Edisto Island Tree house is located in Middleton Retreat, a subdivision 5 minutes from Edisto Beach through a canopy of ancient Live Oak trees along scenic Highway 174. You can visit historic churches, talk with sweet grass artisans, visit the Serpentarium, golf, fish, crab, paddle the tidal creeks, see the state park and many other interesting pleasures. All on your way to a sunset walk on the beach and a night out for dinner at a number of exquisite restaurants. Many public boat landings, all just a couple of minutes away, are there for you to slip into the water and enjoy the magic of the Low country. Also, several art galleries and shopping destinations are on the island. You are 45 minutes to historic downtown Charleston where options for entertainment are limitless.

The Edisto Island Tree house has a whirlpool tub in the master bedroom. Operable 4x4 roof windows over the tub and bed allow you to look at the sky and watch shooting stars. The master bedroom includes a library with an exit out to a private deck for amazing views, reading and lounging. It also has fascinating views of nature through large fixed windows. The downstairs has a shower/tub combination within a spacious bathroom. The downstairs bedroom has views of the pond, trees, perfect shade/sunlight and a meditation room. The kitchen, dining and living room are one open space showcasing vaulted tongue and groove ceilings, log walls, two additional roof windows and four large fixed windows for natural lighting.
We allow guests an opportunity to have the place to themselves but we are close if needed. On-site manager reserves the right to stay in ground level suite with separate entrance and bathroom. There is no disruption or interaction with guests unless assistance requested by guests,
