The bathroom's double rain shower, a soaker bathtub, towels, robes, sandals and organic soap and hair products all fully stocked.
North of town, the feeling is seclusion, but you're minutes away from all Taos has to offer. Hear the great variety of birds including falcons, owls, ravens, finches, hawks, songbirds & magpies. Pet's welcome. A large, central, living room fireplace has a fan for those chilly nights that can give the home a heat burst once the fire is going strong. We leave the flue open - always ready for use. In summer, we provide portable swamp coolers to cool any part of the home. The bedroom has a ceiling fan. All lights in the home are dimmable. The home includes Dish Network and a DVD player with some excellent movies. The Wifi signal carries to the patio. Visit the chapel & the sun porch on the hillside with outstanding views of the Sangres.
In response to Covid-19 & any winter viruses, we thoroughly disinfect the home with germicidal UVC lights, UV air cleaners & anti-viral spray between stays. All linen is laundered per stay, including pillow cases & pillow protectors and duvet covers. We take your health seriously.
For heavy snows, we do snow removal on the main driveway, normally by noon, and the walkways are cleared of snow.. You don't need a 4 wheel drive in Taos as the roads are kept clean and salted during snowy days.
The fall is a festival of colors here, with the aspen trees turning bright yellow and ornamental trees turning brick red. The winter is deeply quiet, with snow possible during the months of December - late April. The Taos Ski Valley has a shuttle service just around the corner so you don't struggle with parking. The summer is flower filled, the trees lush & full, providing lots of shade and beauty. Wintertime the greenhouse is closed due to the freezing temps.

In the kitchen area you'll find organic coffee, teas, stevia, Himalayan salt, organic whole black pepper, a full spice rack plus organic olive oil and balsamic vinegar for your use. We provide non-toxic, non- stick German frying pans and the 14" electric frying pan is also non-toxic. We do not offer a full kitchen but we provide the following appliances for your use; Mr. Coffee, French press, water kettle, small convection oven, microwave, 3 in 1 Ninja cook pot, bagel toaster, electric hot plates, indoor grill, large size electric frying pan, charbroiler + gas burner (in your patio) and a full size refrigerator/freezer. Please use only one major appliance indoors at a time to prevent a power outage. Combine the outdoor grill with some indoor sauté or visit one of many fine restaurants in Taos.
The front door has a combination lock. The door code, wifi password along with other details are on an info sheet under the TV.
Smoke whatever you like in the patio where you'll find ashtrays. No smoking indoors, please.
We offer an outdoor fire pit adjacent to the jacuzzi that can be used when there is little to no wind in the forecast. Please let us know in advance of using the fire pit to prevent any unnecessary fire danger as fire restrictions may be in effect. When in use, the fire pit must always be attended to and put out with the nearby hose.
We want you to thoroughly enjoy the property, explore the different areas, visit the screened-in porch on the hillside for amazing views (or photos) of the Sangre de Cristo mountains and valley. You are welcome anywhere on the property during your stay.

We maintain a peaceful, quiet atmosphere and we have a 9 pm quiet time outdoors though the private jacuzzi is available 24/7 all year.
PS. We do all the home cleaning, including the fireplace, bed linens and trash removal. If you'd like your trash removed for a lengthier stay, just let us know and we can pick it up in your patio or you can deposit in the large black trash can out in the patio.
