We are sorry to hear of the disappointments you experienced during your stay. We strive to keep each of the vacation homes in our inventory ready for a wonderful guest experience, but from time to time we must be reactive when maintenance items arrive. We try to minimize any inconvenience to you, our guest, by serving your needs. For example, when the dryer could not be fully fixed during your stay, we were happy to provide laundry service. You might be happy to know that this home is receiving some updates/improvements during our off-season, so it will have a fresh feel in time for Summer. We are sorry to hear of your disappointments, and we appreciate you giving us the opportunity to address your concerns. -The bugs you described are called Palmetto bugs, and they are prevalent in our area due to our warm climate and dense vegetation. They are unsightly, and we are sorry that you spotted them in the evenings. All of our homes are treated regularly to keep such pests from within the home, but it is not unusual to sight them on exterior decks. -A Dolphin Watch does have one bedroom which has a king bed, and the bedding configuration is listed in our advertisement. Please call us if you ever have any questions about this prior to reserving any of our homes so we can assist you in choosing the home that best fits your needs and preferences. -Internet is available on our island, but it is not always as reliable as you may find elsewhere. This is due to our coastal location, and WiFi signals can vary due to construction of the home or the placement of the router within it. We are sorry to hear that the WiFi at this home did not meet your needs. -Propane is provided by us for all gas grills. We are always happy to deliver a new tank to your vacation home when you let us know it is needed. -Pools are cleaned on the day of your arrival and once during the week of your stay. Our office does operate from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on check-in days during the summer months, and while we try to have everything ready for you by the 4:00 p.m. check-in time, sometimes it can take until 6 p.m. to fully ready a home, including servicing the pool and preparing it for your family's use. -It is true that our check-in time is 4:00 p.m. for this home. This is because after the home is cleaned, we have a housekeeping inspector walk through to ensure it is fully ready for your enjoyment. We certainly want you to get the most of your time as well as the money you spend on your vacation home, so we feel that this step in our process of turning a vacation home from one family to the next is crucial. We do understand that you do not have full enjoyment of the home on either the day you arrive or the day that you depart, so we structure our rates so they are based on only five nights instead of seven; you do not pay for the days on which you are checking in and out. There are several public beach accesses in our town, and one of our vacation planners should have directed you to one of those when you arrived early and were waiting for the home to be ready. We are sorry if that didn't happen. Thank you again for your review.
