From the owner

Blue Moon Antigua sits above the Galleon Beach Resort in English Harbour which is home to world class sailing competitions and super yachts. There are two identical villas each with a king size bed, outdoor garden shower and free WI-Fi. Galleon Beach is a short walk from the villas. It is a very safe and child friendly beach with a small beach bar on it that serves lunch. There is excellent diving and snorkeling right off the beach.

In English and Falmouth Harbours, which are five minutes away, you will find many fabulous small restaurants and bars with live music. There are two local grocery stores for essentials and a very large grocery store in St. John's. The villas are well appointed with everything you need if you choose to stay in at night.

The villas are identical. One sits a set of steps above the other. In the center of each villa is a cupola which allows warm air out-the villas have a very open and airy feel to them but are completely screened. There is a full kitchen/ dining/ living room in the front half of the villa. It looks out to the sea through two eight foot wide door openings that are screened with "armour mesh" which is a stainless steel screen; they are custom fitted into the openings with a hardwood frame. The lower villa has a pull-out couch (double size bed) in the living room-the upper villa does not.

Both villas have king-size beds in the bedroom, a dressing area with a six foot mirrored closet, and a bathroom which opens out into a large garden shower-the shower is outside. There are covered eight foot decks on the entrance side and the sea view side of the villas as well as a six foot partially covered deck on the bedroom side. There are dining tables outside for 6-8 people and inside the villas for four people. Each villa has two sun loungers on the deck with cushions.

The Jacuzzi and BBQ grill are located between the two villas-a half of a flight of stairs above the lower villa. The lower villa is three flight of steps above the parking area-each set of steps is separated by a level ramp which makes the walk up reasonable. The entire walkway is almost completely in the shade because of the extensive gardens all around.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Mershon (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
