Au Riverain is a lovely, extremely comfortable house offering luxury accommodation for 6 guests. The house, gardens and private heated pool have panoramic views over the Lot river and valleys below and Au Riverain is only a short walk from the pretty village of Vieillevie. It has been built in the traditional style of local houses and so offers French charm and every modern convenience.
Access via three French windows from the terrace leads into a magnificent tiled lounge and dining area with TV and DVD playing through a Sony home cinema system. There is a large inglenook fireplace and wood burner surrounded by oak beams in the open plan living area with large sofa, chairs and a dining table.
The kitchen has all you could wish for and also looks onto the terrace. Behind the kitchen is a utility room with toilet, washing machine and fridge freezer to supplement the smaller fridge in the kitchen.
On the first floor, up the beautiful oak staircase, are three double bedrooms with dormer windows overlooking the Lot valley. The twin room and third bedroom share a bathroom and the master bedroom is en-suite.

Grounds, pool and surrounding area
Au Riverain enjoys magnificent south facing views over the whole valley with the sun from first to last light. There are many pretty sitting or sun bathing areas around the house and a heated 8 x 4 metre salt water swimming pool. A large dining table with chairs is under the shaded pergola for al fresco dining. Tables, chairs and sun loungers are available for enjoying the views from the tiled sun terrace in front of the house or by the pool. The house is set in over an acre and a half of grounds comprising landscaped gardens, lawns and terraces. There is also a ground level trampoline in the garden. Everywhere within the grounds you can see and hear the river tumbling along 200 metres below.

A private drive leads up to the house with ample parking.
