Epidaurus Olive Villa,
is a Greek traditional villa located in Nea Epidaurus village 1.5 hour drive from Athens.
Accommodation capacity up to 10-12 people with 4 double bedrooms, 2 sofa-beds, 2 sofas, 3 bathrooms, a study room, spacious open kitchen, big living room and terrace.
The house is fully furnished with central heating and air conditioning, tv, 2 fire places and private parking. A beautiful stone country house arranged in 4 levels ideally situated on a small hill, in 5 acres of land with olive, orange and lemon trees.
Amazing panoramic view of Epidaurus bay, Methana and the island of Agistri.
The nearest beach is 2km away (3 minute drive), the magnificent Ancient Theater of Epidaurus is 20km away. In Ancient Epidaurus beach called “Yalasi” rests the sunken city about 50m off-shore. The village has also to offer a variety of Greek traditional taverns and cafeterias that are situated alongside the marina.
The property is at a convenient distance (40-60minutes) from Nafplion, Argos, Corinth and the archeological sites of Mycenae and Tirinthos. Furthermore, Saronic islands Hydra, Poros, Spetses are very close and suitable for a daily trip.
Epidaurus Olive villa has been licensed by the Greek Organization of Tourism.

The main house
The house was first built in 1964 owned by Emilios Hourmouzios, a well-known Greek journalist and director of the Hellenic National Theatre. It is a Greek traditional stone house with a large green yard completely harmonized with the landscape and fully renovated but still retaining its notably indoor and outdoor architectural elements.

Archeological sites
Ancient Epidaurus village is next to one of the world's best known archeological sites,the ancient theatre of Epidaurus built between 340-330bc. The most famous ancient theatre with its amazing acoustics and capacity up to 15.000 people, which is part of the site of Asklipios Epidaurus,the ancient god of well-being. Every summer, performances take place as part of the Epidaurus Festival inaugurated in 1955.
Next to the theatre is the Asklepieion, the sanctuary of Asklepios, a healing center in ancient times, where attending performances were thought to be a great method to heal from disease.
The archeological museum is nearby the theatre, enclosing interesting collections of findings.
Also a notable site of interest and very close from the Villa (10 minutes driving distance) is the little ancient theater of Epidaurus which still hosts dramas and performances.

The city of Nafplio
For a more cosmopolitan feel visit Nafplio, 40 minutes away from Epidaurus. The town was the capital of the First Hellenic Republic, from the start of the Greek Revolution in 1821 until 1834. With its rich history,a superb Venetian castle and many cafes and shops as well as bars and clubs for a night life experience is recommended.

Why can't I call Dafni (the owner) before booking?

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Dafni (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
